The service was a little slow tonight but in there defense, they were handling large groups coming from a graduation that was happening down the block. Although food was slow coming out, it did not disappoint. We still consider it one of the best restaurants in the area.

Food was great value for portion sizes. We ordered 2 apps and individual entrees when we easily could’ve split one entree. Cocktail list is limited but the Mishmush Sprtiz was amazing. Our server was super attentive but not overbearing. She also made us a complimentary shot she nicknamed “pinky’s up!” which was super good!

Great welcome from the hostess, who also took our order. They followed up perfectly on my wife's birthday, so we appreciated that. Best sushi we've had in Chicago (we've lived here 7 years and tried places all over), nice quaint ambiance. Pricey, but we can see why, soooo good. Thanks!

Unbelievably nice time. We were there for our anniversary and initially had trouble getting a server. Really not a big deal, it was busy and we weren't in a hurry. But, holy Hannah, did they make up for that. Great food, great people working there. They went above and beyond when they felt they didn't live up to their own standards. I have been and continue to be a huge Cameron Mitchell restaurants fan because of nights just like last night.

The Mecca is like the ultimate sports bar with an enormous theater size screen carrying the featured event of the moment, and high energy music pumping throughout the space. Like a sports bar, you don't really go there for the food, so don't expect incredibly executed deliciousness on every plate. The food is pretty standard pub fare of the deep-fried, high-calorie variety. The drink selection offers a range of local craft and national name-brand beers, wine and quick-prep or ready-made cocktails. They do offer four different kid's plates, which was nice. All-in-all, a really good spot in the Deer District to get pumped up for a Bucks game at Fiserv Forum, and possibly to go to view a big event on the giant screen with a whole bunch of other fans.
