Chaplin's Executive Chef and Partner, Myo Htun, is originally from Burma, but was cooking ramen in Japan at a young age. Myo received a blessing from his mentor in Japan after nearly 30 years of cooking in Japan, to come to America and continue to showcase his authentic Ramen and traditional Japanese cuisine. Chaplin's Restaurant demonstrates the aesthetic of a bustling ramen house in Japan in the 1930's silent film era. There is also a large outdoor dining area that is dog friendly. Chaplin's is located in the heart of the Historic Shaw neighborhood. And it is open until last call 7 days a week. Chaplin's received a Plate certification in the Michelin Guide in 2020. We visited for a late family lunch on Sunday after the car show. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff and servers were doing a great job ensuring everyone was served in a timely manner. The food was delicious and fantastic value - the restaurant week menu making it even better value.

Very nice within your budget restaurant. I ordered a pina colada and it was the tastiest Pina I have EVER had! The fried snapper was very fresh and tasty. The flan presentation was video worthy. The caesar salad was prepared in a way I had never seen before. ( Sorry.No pic) i ordered oxtails to take home. Would definitely come back here.

This is by far the best steak house in Miami. I’m surprised this is not better known in town!. Only the meat sushi makes it worth to visit it. The hamburger may only be matched with the one at Casa Neos or at Le Chick. Service is extremely warm and the premises are nicer than most of other steak houses maybe a little bit short compared to Flemings. The price for the fixed menu is ridiculous low for the quality of the food. I would recommended to everyone I meet !

The chicken parm was great but the penne had no flavor whatsoever. The bruschetta was also pretty bland and not that great. The bread was harder than it should be. However, the house bread was delicious!!! The service was also excellent.

We had 2 amazing experiences at Amar from start to finish. Our servers Oriana and Justyn were so friendly and gave wonderful suggestions. The spicy harissa hummus and baba ghanouj were out of this world. If diners can't stay for a sit-down meal, Don Jorge's can also package meals to-go so people can take them home. Don Jorge's starters include buffalo chicken wings, chicken quesadillas, queso fundido and a seafood ceviche with fresh flounder, cilantro, red onions, celery, ginger and jalapeño peppers. For main courses, diners are encouraged to pick one of the basic recipes and then pair them with whatever protein they would like. Some of the plates include enchiladas, chimichangas, burritos, chiles rellenos and tacos al carbon and then top them with either beef, chicken, lengua, fresh marinated pork ribs, shrimp or a vegetable medley.

We chose Don Jorge's at the last minute as there were not a lot of choices on a Saturday night. The reviews looked good, so we gave it a try. We are so glad we did! If you like Tex-Mex food, this is the place to go. There was a DJ that also sang and had a surprisingly good voice. The decor is simple yet clean. And the food was great. Everything we tried was perfect including the freshly made salsa. If you are in the mood for Tex-Mex, I would highly recommend Don Jorge's!

Our server was very attentive and made recommendations. We ordered the Greek salad which had a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, which I don’t care for. The chef made me a lemon vinaigrette which was excellent. They really go the extra mile to please you. We ordered the lamb kabobs which were perfectly cooked medium rare and the beef lamb Kofta kabob. The food was delicious and the portions were large. Our food was seasoned well and was very reasonable. We will definitely going back to Fusion Mediterranean. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food ! Waiter was awesome and personable, the only details to improve were the Kafta links were a little dry and the desert custard needs some work. Besides that , all the dishes we ordered were incredible, specially the sampler, lamb and the mixed grill . An added bonus, they close at 1 am. You will not find great food anywhere at that time.

I took my mom here for her 76th birthday. She wanted Mediterranean food and I wanted to bring her somewhere we hadn’t been, with a nicer environment than a diner or a chain. Mom ordered the chicken shawarma plate and I ordered the na’an tenderloin appetizer as my meal. We were both very happy! Industrial chic atmosphere softened by natural tree branches wrapped with fairy lights suspended from the ceiling and interspersed with small disco balls created a lovely atmosphere. The generous seating included booths, high tops, and traditional tables surrounded a large bar, and all of the seating was comfortable. The outdoor seating was all shaded by the roof over the patio, so we would have been able to enjoy our meal there as well. Service was prompt and friendly. We didn’t order cocktails, but I’ll definitely be back with my husband to try the interesting craft cocktails on the menu! My only complaint is that the music was a little loud for lunchtime but it wasn’t a big deal. I’m pleased we tried GOAT and will definitely be back!

Outstanding pre-theater dinner. Everyone loved the Nusr-et Salad and the beef carpaccio appetizer prepared table side. For dinner we enjoyed the Nusr-et Special for 2 (tenderloin sliced and griddled on hot plate with melted butter). The Nusr-et special was melt in your mouth tender and absolutely delicious. The Yukon gold mashed potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. No meal is complete without the sinfully delicious authentic pistachio baklava with ice-cream. The service was excellent. When we told our server that the coffee was very weak, he replaced it with freshly brewed coffee and was completely gracious about it. When our first course was not hot enough, he again gladly had it re-made without any grumbling. Instead, he treated us to free glasses of champagne for the inconvenience.
