Altius continues to be the most glamorous, most spectacular, and most delicious night out in Pittsburgh! The vegan options are phenomenal and the staff is very welcoming and helpful!
Altius at right at the top of the most consistently excellent restaurants in Pittsburgh. The steaks are always perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everything regarding our experience was good except a problem with flying insects in the restaurant. We were seated by a window and there were insects trying to get out. We killed three. That was pretty disappointing. The staff and food was outstanding!

Just a totally wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambience is classy (old school steak house vibe) and I loved that it was on the quieter side. Our server was terrific, gave us a great overview of the menu and helped us make great choices, and then very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious - from app to dessert. One of our favorites with the best dessert in town (Milk and cereal!)
The food, as always, is phenomenal. Particularly the 72-hour wagyu beef sashimi might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. It never disappoints.
