Sustainability is a core focus of many restaurants across the country, and some of the most committed are recognized as ocean-friendly by the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the protection of the world's ocean, waves, and beaches. Those restaurants must meet strict criteria, ranging from using proper recycling methods to eliminating plastic bags, straws, and utensils. Read on for which OpenTable restaurants are a part of the ocean-friendly program, and consider patronizing to contribute a small part of helping preserve the planet.

I watch YouTube about this place so I knew what to expect. And it was pretty amazing. If you’d never done it before it’s great for special occasions. The food was really delicious but the downside is you have to cook it yourself. And if you don’t pay attention, you can wind up burning everything or over cooking everything. Of course, the best part was the chocolate fondue. Just awesome. What really made it for me was the kindness and consideration of the staff and how attentive and wonderful they were. Especially down in San Diego. I don’t know about other places, I’ve never been there before, but they were awesome! And the food was edible because I cooked it and because I paid attention. But my aunt and uncle were not so lucky and had overcooked steak. But that’s their fault. Not the restaurants. Thanks for listening.

Love going here for the great drinks especially great happy hour pricing. Need to up their game on on the small pates for HH. HEALTHIER choices, better balance if choices like they used to. Love the heated patio lounge seating. Wish the inside was more comfy and intimate. It’s more cafeteria feeling. Needs booth seating And more. It’s usually too cold inside. Dinner menu food is good. Edmon is great making his drinks. But they do need to serve drinks with napkins.

Our waitress, Maria, was the best part about this weekday dinner. Skip the seafood tower, go to Found Oyster instead. The steak was served with a microwaved potatoes with slices in it, no seasoning no butter and dry, and four asparagus prepared incorrectly with the fiberous stalk still present with again no seasoning or salt or butter. One of the things I did like is that it was quiet, but the music they were playing did not fit the ambiance at all. Seems like management may be going down hill or maybe they just don’t put much effort in on weeknights. Maria was phenomenal and gave us the VIP treatment for sure, with honest recommendations and impeccable service.

The service was exceptional. Jorge did an amazing job at making the birthday celebration special and was very attentive to our needs. My dad raved about the pork chop and my filet was excellent. The cocktails were well done, love the martini glasses they use, spacious and stable.

We had not been back to Geays for a while as there had been some previous problems with staffing etc. We were delighted today, as the food was Delicious. Presentation , amount and flavor was perfect. Pot pie and wedge salad. Our waiter was a veteran , He was efficient and friendly. So a great all around experience!! We will now be back and will spread the news as all of us seniors go out a lot!!!! Thank you, Kathy Schaeffer

Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. Although we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room, we do have other options available. Please email reservations@merrimanshawaii.com for groups larger than 8 people.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

We had breakfast twice and dinner once at Hudson and Nash restaurant on the ground floor of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel. Both menus have a nice selection, however, breakfast service included an automatic gratuity of 20%. Both breakfast and dinner included a 4% surcharge. If it were not for the convenience of eating breakfast in the hotel on two chilly mornings, we would have chosen a different breakfast restaurant. There are several unique and delicious options in the Gaslamp Quarter across the street from the hotel. Our dinner experience was good with well prepared food and attentive service. The desserts were also delicious, although a bit overpriced for the size of the portion.

First time eating at Frenchy Bar et Brasserie and the French onion soup was out standing. Probably one of the best French onions soups I’ve had. The only negative experience we had was our server was very forgetful. When we initially sat down, we waited approximately 20 minutes before a server acknowledged our table. We ordered cocktails and my drink was missing, and had to ask the server. When our entrees came out, the server forgot our soup spoons. We had to wait 7 minutes to get the servers attention to ask for spoons. He was very apologetic, and it truthfully looked like he was the one person on shift, and it’s decently busy around 1:30pm. We did see couple supervisors walking around but never approached the table. He was very kind, polite, and friendly. We do appreciate he acknowledged the fact he was behind and apologized multiple times for the long wait.

The mushroom appetizer was copious and delicious. Onion Soup very good. Duck two ways copious and excellent. Pork shank same. We took enough home for two mains. It is refreshing to go to a fancy restaurant and be able to enjoy large main portions as opposed to nouvelle cuisine nonsense. I like fancy and creative but please give me a decent portion.

Our waitress Anna was awesome ! When eating with a 3 year old for breakfast it’s a little more challenging on the wait staff , but Anna had it all under control ! Great food greater service a little pricey for the breakfast buffet $40 per head but you get what you pay for ! Excellent experience , the entire hotel was awesome for our family of 7 trip !

Hands down the Best food I’ve had in all of FL. The sea bass, scallops and filet were all exceptional. Fried Brussel sprouts was the favorite appetizer and the hot fudge with ice cream was the favorite dessert at the table. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

I brought my brother and his best friend here for a little holiday luncheon and gift exchange. I come to The Burnham frequently for lunch and I have been to dinner there several times. It was very quiet this afternoon and not a lot of folks in the restaurant. It was quiet, the holiday ambiance and decorations were great. The food was outstanding as usual. My brother had a caesar salad and the fried chicken sandwich, his friend had the pot roast sandwich with French fries and I had a Caesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. Again, the food was outstanding, but I think $23 for the pizza is just a little steep, especially for it being a thinner crust pizza. Don’t get me wrong - it was delicious — just slightly overpriced. I do realize that restaurants in hotels like the Hilton do have higher prices; although I am willing to pay for good food. Our server was outstanding (I am sorry, I can’t remember his name, but he was incredibly helpful and provided outstanding service). All in all - it was an A+ experience.

It’s been that way since Drago & Klara Cvitanovich opened our restaurant in 1969. They set out to offer delicious seafood and a good time to guests for a reasonable price. At that time, they couldn’t even imagine how many guests that would become.

Today it’s still a family atmosphere. Klara is still at the front to greet our guests. Tommy Cvitanovich, Drago and Klara’s son, is there to see that things run smoothly.

Mark and Trevor provided great service. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Elvia and Erika keep the buffet looking fresh and all items are refreshed when needed. Chef Roy prepares a fantastic omelette. I appreciate the warm greeting from Sean and Dana when approaching the host/hostess stand. We always enjoy our dining experience at the Taco Project.

Had a great time, easy reservation through OT. I wish the menu was a little more descriptive, we looked online and found pictures to help us visualize what we were ordering as most of these options were unique to the restaurant. Food was great, and they made my gf's birthday very memorable.

I frequent the Water Bar for dinner . I like to food . We decided to try brunch , it was a big disappointment . The menu for brunch is limited . Our food arrived cold . We had to send back two out of three dishes that we ordered . To top it off the restaurant was not crowded so there should be no excuse for serving cold food . Our waitress was more concerned with socializing with the table next to us .

Super good pizza. The remodel now had a mix of walk up counter service, pizza by the slice, or full order. To get a table that is reserved, you talk with the food at the bar. It still took about 15 min to be seated. Our server was super friendly. Great selection of pizzas.

Cocktails were great, food was solid. Service and the view was amazing. Joshua was a fantastic server and gave great recommendations.
