Introducing the top 100 restaurants that diners loved in 2022. To determine the list, we analysed more than 1.4 million reviews from restaurants across the UK — all submitted by verified OpenTable diners. The result is a selection of spots across the country that leave a lasting impression.

Established in 1985, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of 'old Soho'. This 18th century town house has, for more than thirty years, attracted many loyal customers. We love this restaurant. The welcome is always warm and unfussy, the service is quietly competent, the food and wine are delicious. It feels like eating with friends at home - but in a historic space and with everything lovely being conjured for our pleasure. Thank you so much for creating such a perfect atmosphere.

Very nice place with great food. The tables and the seats was comfortable. Most importantly the waiters was very service minded and very friendly. The Oysters was simple excellent and the rest of the food very very delicious. Highly recommended!

Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Brawn is located on Columbia Road in Bethnal Green. A neighbourhood restaurant and bar cooking food that is within the season and sourced through as many local suppliers and producers within our community.

Brawn opened in late 2010 and has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand since then. In 2020, we also opened Brawn Store, which sells a wide selection of our food, wine list and other select items.

Fantastic evening, food was delicious service was excellent, would highly recommend.
Brawn is located on Columbia Road in Bethnal Green. A neighbourhood restaurant and bar cooking food that is within the season and sourced through as many local suppliers and producers within our community.

Brawn opened in late 2010 and has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand since then. In 2020, we also opened Brawn Store, which sells a wide selection of our food, wine list and other select items.

We come here for special occasions, and this was the first time for a couple of years. Food was good but not quite the same - can’t explain. Something was missing, there wasn’t quite the intensity of flavour as before. The salmon nigiri were superb but the patatas bravas weren’t quite as crisp and the flavour did not explode in your mouth like before. Overall still very good, but just that little bit different…

The food was great - my partner's Red Snapper main was slightly too spicy for her, but my lamb shank was incredible. The restaurant was very very quiet when we arrived (18:30 on a Saturday) but it started to busy up at 19:30-20:00. The staff were so polite and attentive. Our food turned up probably a bit too quick, but I think this was probably because it was so quiet, they could get the food out quick. Serving staff might want to be careful that customers don't feel rushed.

A stunning venue in a stunning location, London’s CUT at 45 Park Lane restaurant presents the European debut of world renowned chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck. Set within the glamorous art deco Dorchester Collection hotel 45 Park Lane, CUT at 45 Park Lane restaurant mirrors almost exactly its award winning Beverly Hills counterpart, offering the same mouth watering steak and seafood menu, a similarly well crafted wine list and the same atmosphere of moneyed glamour and laid back sophistication. Surrounded by wood panelling and curtaining, lit by low level lamps and high chandeliers and with curved leather banquettes creating an intimate feel, the dining room is as ideally suited to business as to romance and special occasions. The food was truly outstanding. And, those small, the wine by the glass options were strong. I dined by myself, so a bottle wasn’t a sound option.

You’re facing the kitchen, the chefs come to your table and you are able to really interact with every member of the team. Smith's of Wapping is located on the River Thames with fantastic views of Tower Bridge and The Shard.
Smith's, famous for fish, was initially established in 1958 and today offers fine dining facilities.

We are now open from 12pm until 230pm for lunch and 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating time is 9pm) on Monday to Thursday.

Friday dinner starts at 6pm until 11pm (last seating is 9.30pm).

Saturday dinner starts at 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating is 945pm)

On Sundays we are open from 12pm until 3.30pm for Lunch
And 6pm until 10pm (last seating time 8.30pm) for Dinner.

Went for tasting menu. Delicious is an understatement. Also did it with wine pairing - recommend this really makes the meal a wonderful experience. Service was exceptional and we were looked after like special dignitaries. Great food great service and great wine.

Just returned home from The white Horse me and my partner went there today to celebrate her 60th , The food was delicious, and fantastically presented good sized portions, the staff were amazing, we both loved it there and will be returning plus the little extra message and the Happy Birthday dessert was completely unexpected but was greatly appreciated thank you

MERE is husband and wife team, Monica and David Galetti's first restaurant.
Spread over two floors, this Fitzrovia-based restaurant is the brainchild of Monica Galetti who is featuring as a judge on the BBC's MasterChef The Professionals.
The restaurant itself serves a variety of traditional Pacific Island delicacies that have been delicately created by Monica and Sven our Head Chef.
Nestled above the spacious basement restaurant is the bar, managed by our Mixologist Glenn, which serves an array of delectable cocktails.
Monica's husband, David , is in charge of the Front of House at Mere with his Restaurant Manager Eugenio, and using his years of experience as an expert sommelier to create a wine selection along side his head Sommelier Alex that perfectly balances with the seasonal dishes on offer.

Housed in the old congregational chapel on Lendal, NOLA is a new Restaurant & Bar styled in a 1920s Art Deco Theme, the upstairs bar and waiting area is decorated in period mirrors and marble. Downstairs is the main restaurant, which has large leather upholstered chairs and easy banquette seating and dark wood panelling.
Our food is a mix of Cajun inspired dishes and tastes from around the globe, served on smaller plates giving the guest a chance to be more adventurous with their choices. The drinks and cocktails menu are designed to complement the extensive food menu.
