Located in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea, in a beautiful Victorian townhouse Banu is a lavish restaurant set against an enchanting backdrop and a cosy garden terrace. Banu has created a twist on authentic, Persian cuisine and made it more suitable for the health conscious.
The Banu menu brings to life a variety of different traditional recipes, full of delicately selected ingredients and spices. Although some dishes have a contemporary twist, they are still all prepared and cooked using traditional methods. Popular dishes include Zereshk Polo Ba Morgh, a chicken dish cooked with tomato and saffron sauce, topped with barberries and pistachios.
As well as showcasing its Persian heritage, Banu serves a Classic Afternoon Tea, filled with traditional finger sandwiches, freshly baked scrumptious scones with Cornish clotted cream and jam, and delicious home-made cakes and pastries.More
