Always can depend on good food and good vibes from the staff at Loam. Consistent for a great breakfast (avocado toast), happy hour $10 burgers and good wine and drinks. If I'm in DTLA I always go.

Four of us had dinner here last night. One had the Chinese chicken salad, another had the chicken piccata, one had the fish and chips and I had the fish tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meals and I would say that the fish tacos were some of best I've ever had. The service wasn't the best as the waiter wasn't the most attentive and when he did come by the table it was like he was in a race. One thing that really bugs me is when they add in a surcharge on the bill without telling you that it's on there. It was a 4% additional fee, which isn't a fortune, I just thing it would have been nice if they would let you know.

RUN...don't walk to Marlou DTLA!!! The food, the drinks, the staff...everything was fantastic. We drove up from San Diego and arrived one hour before our reservation time and were able to be seated. Tried almost all the drinks on the menu - none of them disappointed. Bone Marrow app was to die for. Ribeye and Lamb Chops did not disappoint. Chef Marcos was so gracious and spent quality time with us even though it was a busy Saturday night. We can't wait to go back!

You will have the feeling that you want to try everything on the menu. Go for it! The menu has something for everyone. It’s tapas style so shareable plates. My friend and enjoyed everything we ordered. The servers and wait staff were lovely.

Absolutely the best French toast I have ever eaten...all the food was great but the French toast stood out. Freaky day because it was not supposed to rain, but it's LA so of course it rained and we had windy gusts on the outside...BUT...Perch has blankets!. Yes and soft quality ones, so we were toasty even in the LA blizzard.

Oysters Rockefeller were my absolute favorite. The service was excellent. There was barely anyone there so Sunday brunch time is definitely the time to attend. Amazing as always.
