$$$$ • Japanese • Little Tokyo
They sat us at a table where they knew the burner didn’t work, as admitted by the server after it was lit and relit four times. So that was fun trying to cook food that stayed raw. This was hour one. Hour two we finally were moved to a new table. I asked to speak with the manager about it, who looked irritated by the mere notion someone would be unhappy with the situation. Nothing was offered to compensate. If there was an apology it must have been drowned out by the noise.
This delightful night ended with a bill of $200 for 2.
