The food is delicious and well presented. The plating alone makes you hungry. The atmosphere is lovely and charming. The staff is very attentive. It is definitely something to experience.
This was our first time at Sumac and we know it won't be our last. We went there before a show and had a wonderful dinner. The menu was quite extensive for a Mediterranean restaurant with things I hadn't heard of before. Everything was tasty and as fresh as can be. We all ate chicken dishes- chicken gyro and two baked chicken dish that had been marinated for 4 days- oven baked chicken shawarma & the chicken shawarma entree. Truly outstanding! Our host Eli was friendly and took time to answer all our questions re: the menu. We would have loved to try his baklava but we were so full from our dinner. We will have to come back to give the baklava a try!
