The blackened walleye was very good but the pieces were small , squash soup was great and the Germany beer was excellent.

The food was good, not exceptional. The elk was very good but the lobster fettuccine was bland. The cocktails again were OK but not the craft cocktail I would expect for $18. The noise was awful, no sound deadening and everything happening around you was just amplified.

It was just OK. The last time I was there was maybe a year ago and was underwhelmed then too The service is always pretty good, but the food is pretty average. And for the prices they charge, it’s not good value. Zitis, Harry’s and Rosewild are better options And holy cow, my wife and I have sat in 4 chairs in that restaurant and they are terrible. Maybe that’s why it puts me in a bad mood. There are no worse chairs in Fargo restaurants.

All of the food we ordered was delicious except for my entree. The lobster pasta dish, squid ink pasta was substitued with spinach fettucini and the lobster was on the raw side. I did get a new dish. Our party of 5 enjoyed our evening at Maxwells and will be back.

It’s always a pleasure dining at Maxwell’s. Wonderful place for great food. Great service. Great for date nights or visit with Friends. Our meal was delicious. Well portioned wonderful flavor. We had the pleasure of having Gen as our server. She is always very friendly, very outgoing with great knowledge of the food.
