Inverness Restaurants

Excellent staff, welcome us very warm. We had coyote burger and chicken burger and a few drinks. Delicious food and drinks. Beautiful view as we could see River Ness and lights, we got a table next to the window. That was the only place where we were welcome on Saturday evening as forgot to book earlier so we are very grateful. Really nice evening!

Thoroughly enjoyed our - first time - eating at No. 27 yesterday, right from the word go, with the cheery waitress welcoming us as “girls”. For two well-over 60 year olds, that was a compliment indeed! We chose the festive menu and were not disappointed. Everything was absolutely delicious…and the turkey came they way it should..nice thick slices of white meat and gravy, surrounded with carrots, sprouts and roast potatoes…and a dish of cranberry sauce on the side. (I can’t be doing with these restaurants that bring you Christmas lunch turkey, mashed potatoes and vegetables piled up in a tower. ) No, this was perfect. Absolutely 10/10 for me. The desserts too were fabulous. My friend had mint tiramisu…very different…and delicious. I opted for sticky toffee pudding and oh my word was that a good choice! It was a total delight…melt in the mouth…and I came close to licking the plate… Absolutely first class No.27 well done that chef…and the waitress who was a cheery, smiling star. If you haven’t been yet…go!

Fantastic service and food. The Cullen skink pie is yummy as was the haddock and chips. Enjoyed the open mic night too.

Ate here on 1st January and had a nice evening. Our waiter was friendly. Food was good - starters better than main meal for us. Drinks excellent - a lovely cocktail, red wine and coffee.

Perfect start to new year with a lovely lunch in a chilled atmosphere, staff very friendly and accommodating.
