This was our first time there and we didn’t have high hopes as we tried so many Turkish restaurants and been disappointed many times. However, the mezes were AMAZING! Small menu but everything on the menu was very well done. I truly enjoyed my perfectly cooked lamb chops 👌🏻 the only constructive comment I can make for food is that use Pastirma instead of ground beef for the warm version of the hummus. No need to reinvent the wheel ☺️. Also, call it “Cacik” please, menu is Turkish😉. Can’t remember her name but our server was great 👍🏻, the male server may use a bit training on serving and clearing. The space is small but cozy. We did struggle a bit going around, for us not a big deal, but I could see the servers’ frustration. My suggestion to the owner would be to get rid of that big bar that takes so much space and it is not is a good use of revenue either. It would add you 3 more tables > 12 covers and more space for your severs to get around. We went for the Turkish night with live music. Music started very well then they played some arabesque and it was not that necessary to keep that long. The repertoire needs to be updated. There are many many newer great songs out there that could have been mixed in. Musicians need to understand that the audience is now a bit younger 🤷🏻♀️. In a small place like this high high notes and long tunes really are not needed. I would try to keep the music more acoustic as much as possible. Remember that would set the the tone of the audience too. Overall; top notch food, great ambience (needs restoration), good music (needs updates), good service, great experience ! I strongly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you 🙏🏻
