Discover Sant Martí de Provençals

Part of the larger Sant Martí district, which borders the Mediterranean Sea, Sant Adrià del Besòs, as well as four other districts, Sant Martí de Provençals is a small coastal neighborhood teetering on the edge of modern expansion. And while most of the neighborhood consists of beaches or high-rise buildings, there’s still plenty of noteworthy restaurants along Carrer Pont de Treball, as well as La Rambla. With its close proximity to the sea, you can expect lighter, Mediterranean-inspired menus that incorporate freshly-caught seafood and locally-sourced produce with a Catalan twist. For a more decadent experience though, indulge in everything from pizza to paella–and don’t forget to leave room for dessert. Crema Catalan, similar to crème brûlée, is Barcelona’s oldest traditional dessert, and is a must-try for individuals looking to satisfy that sweet tooth.
