After the fire, the Swan and Royal has undergone a major refurbishment, keeping its original character and still making it a warm and friendly place to eat and drink. Another excellent meal at the Brown Cow, last minute decision to go but definitely glad we went. Weather outside was shocking but the fire was on and it was lovely and warm inside. Food was excellent as was the service. Definitely be back soon.

I rarely write reviews but this place is absolutely outstanding. We travelled an hour to go here for our anniversary meal as we’d heard amazing things about it, and it didn’t disappoint. The food is absolutely unreal! Genuinely the best food we’ve had for a really long time. The staff are so lovely, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. Honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! We’ll be travelling back as soon as we can.
