Parking Please note we have a car park on-site however it can get very busy and is limited. Please respect the neighbours when parking on-street by not blocking their driveways. Please do not park opposite other cars therefore making the road too narrow to pass. Come and join us at this beautiful old pub very soon. Brilliant! we were recommended by our son, and we were not disappointed. We were made welcome right from the start and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous menu, with the shepherds pie an outstanding winner. I was fascinated watching all the staff with their distinctive clothing showing what their duties are. The girl who brought the food from the kitchen was amazing carrying a huge tray on her shoulder, right down to the bar staff creating cock tails, everyone was busy all the time working in a happy, pleasant atmosphere. It was our first anniversary and when the staff found out we were given a lovely chocolate desert with happy anniversary on it. Beautiful decor, lovely staff, heavenly food. Worth every penny. It was pouring down when we left and unfortunately there were no umbrellas left. What a lovely idea though. Well done ,we will be be back when next visiting Nottingham.

Really great service, was a little delayed in the beginning to be seated initially, but didn’t spoil the experience. Food was very nice and was a lovely atmosphere. Fortunate to get a booth, I did book in advance, so this was a nice touch.
