Marlow Restaurants

Brilliant place for cocktails and the food is really good given how busy the restaurant always is. It was a bit cold in the rear covered area on an, admittedly, very cold night. Wear a jacket/cardigan if you are going during the winter. My only complaint is that wine seems very expensive while beer is pretty good value, as are the cocktails given their quality-superb Pisco Sours in our case!

We had The prix menu, I had the minute steak which is very thin,I new but did ask for medium, but it was over cooked. We had the set menu as thought their was a good choice.. The Staff were lovely and so accommodating.

We went to the Oarsman for Saturday lunch, and thought the food and service were outstanding. Very good value for money. The restaurant is in the Michelin guide for a good reason. The pigs trotters for starters were superb and the bavette steak was amazing. Beautifully seasoned and very smokey. The wine was also a treat. I thought it very reasonably priced vs the other high end restaurants in Marlow.

Great atmosphere for New Year’s Day, fantastic service, and overall good food.( we were given a used lemon on one dish and the batter was soggy on the fish and chips but everything else was spot on !)
