Eastbourne Restaurants

Starter mains were excellent The experience was spoilt by the very poor desserts namely the date sponge with caramel - heavy solid texture and just the chill off Also the sweet with monkey nuts sold and bland Would be more carful in future with this course All very expensive compared with other courses Would have been appreciated when we told the staff a proportion of cost was refunded as none of us could eat these Would recommend but warn about these desserts

An excellent roast dinner - I prefer beef rare and was told it wouldn’t be. But as it was such good quality beef it didn’t matter - it was very tender and tasty. Puddings were disappointing - not really as described. Winter fruit crumble was just plums that were undercooked. Espresso creme anglaise didn’t taste of coffee ne the cherries in the bread and butter pudding were glacé ones - yuk. Service is very good and a nice ambience all round.

Really nice restaurant, decor is very nice and the food is brilliant and not too expensive! Nice little gem in Eastbourne worth a visit!

I enjoyed lunch with my granddaughters - it was a pleasant atmosphere and the service was good.
