Cornish Restaurants

The air was blowing directly on our table and sadly would cool the food faster than expected

Food was excellent, service perfect, ambiance was great too. Only thing was hard to find when dropped off by Uber. Restaurant is on a walking side st. and no signs stating where it was. Had to ask a local for directions. Other than that totally worth it.

Excellence with service and dishes, everything was delicious and our waiter was awesome! Very impressed!

We love the food here! Awesome in the summer to sit out front and people watch.

LL Bean couldn't have wanted it better. The lodge is sequestered under huge white pines along the edge of the most beautiful lake on the East Coast. Cocktails are on the veranda and randomly outside wherever you wish and the cocktail hour is laid-back, as are the table times. Once you have your reservation, the table is yours for the evening, so you go in to eat when you're good and ready. Men must wear a jacket, But otherwise it's country casual. The food is straightforward American fair and is excellent. It will not compete for exotic with the Old Port in downtown Portland, but this is not why you come here. If you want an excellent straightforward meal in an atmosphere that is almost indescribable, but something out of "On Golden Pond", this is your place.!!!
