The Old Auctioneer is a 500 year old listed building in the centre of Banbury with wonderful character and history. It is now the home of great quality comfort food, incredible wings and much more. All dishes are homemade and cooked to order, and we have a lovely terrace for outside dining throughout the year.
We are open from 12 each day and are located on Parsons Street in the heart of Banbury centre. For any enquiries for parties of more than 8 people, please give us a ring or drop us an email and one of our team can help you out.

Nestled in the village of Chacombe and just a short drive off of junction 11 of the M40 the George and Dragon offers friendly and officiant service, excellent quality pub classics, pizza oven and lighter bites, not forgetting tempting desserts. Our bar is host to healthy selection of real cask ales, lagers, wines and an impressive gin collection. We are open for our full a la carte restaurant service from Monday to Saturday each week with tables from 18:00 until 20:30. We are closed for dinner on Sunday, but the bar is open. We offer lunches daily and our wonderful Sunday lunch has tables from 12:00 until 16:00. Set in beautiful Cotswold landscape our balconies and floor to ceiling glass provide the perfect setting to enjoy Victoria Hamilton's superb dishes inspired by the seasonality of local produce.
