Nice welcome and quickly shown to our table. Drinks and menu offered on speedy basis. Waitress was very attentive and handled our orders in a very positive and helpful fashion. Food was excellent but was little surprised by the £15 each Apple crumble, not totally sure why we had to pay that much but it was an anniversary so took it on the chin

Recently re-opened under new management. Had the Sunday roast. Good choice of meats, 7 vegetables and all the trimmings (pigs in blanket, Yorkshire pudding etc). Service was friendly. Great value for money.

Ate in this lovely italian for the first time recently and the pasta was excellent and also the dessert, food was really good and also the wine. The service could of come with a smile though.

I found the manager a little rude when we arrived. Arrived at 11.45 to be told they open at 12 which was fine - then two family’s walk in after us (as we sat back in the car) and they didn’t come back out! So assume it was fine so not quite sure why we were told to leave. Went back in at 11.55 - and was greeted by the manger - told her we had a booking. And straight away was told we can’t sit in as we had our dog with us! I informed her if she looked at our booking she would see I have asked to sit in the bar and also look at further info to state we are bringing our dog so please make sure we were sat in the bar - I just found her rather abrupt and rude to begin with. The other staff were warm welcoming and lovely towards us and our pup - the food was delicious as always.
