Great food, great wine and great service. What is there not to like.

Visited after a recommendation from a friend and it didn't disappoint! The pub is beautiful, exposed stone and features everywhere you look, the woodburner was lovely and very welcome. The staff were simply superb, a great balance between being attentive without being overbearing, it's a simple format that's difficult to master. They excelled. The food is fantastic, it was very difficult deciding what to have as so much was appealing. We had the sausages and the schnitzel. Highly recommended. We will definitely be returning. I cannot find fault with anything.

Lovely food but expensive for the puddings. It seemed to take a long time for the waiter/waitress to take our plates and bring us dessert menus. All ok but not brilliant.

Continues to offer excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend 👌

Lovely experience, food very good,Apart from running out of some foods making menu very limited restaurant Lovely decor, just lacks front of house service, on entering the hotel repectation, we went into the bar first for drinks,,,Nobody came to get us after half an hour?? Had to go back to Reception to ask if we could go through to our table that was booked for my friends 60th, I put that in special notes, but she didn't receive anything as a special gesture,,,, would goo back as we still managed to enjoy our evening
