Fantastic place for breakfast! We had the salmon and the bubble and squeak cakes and they were divine. Dog friendly as well so we brought our puppy along for a pawpuccino :) It wasn't overly busy but there was a nice atmosphere. The wood fire being on was a bonus for us as we'd just been for a frosty walk! Can't wait to go back again soon.

All very good. Had 8 guests and had to increase to 10. I couldn't manage the updated booking via the web-site as there was no (apparent) "Confirm" button to hit. Used the tried and tested old-technology telephone and human.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were superb, helpful and excellent at their jobs. The food was exceptional , delightful and thoroughly enjoyed. We didn’t feel the prices were silly at all and our final bill was a lot less than we had expected to pay. The price of Prosecco when we know how much it is to buy, had a substantial mark up which we felt was excessive but we understand that there has to be a profit. If our only complaint was the Prosecco we had a wonderful evening and we will happily come back on a more regular basis. Thank you to everyone for making our evening so very special

Super food, from starter to dessert - we actually loved it all and will be back having spread the news amongst friends and more family. It’s definitely welcome back to the jockey . Food all piping hot and so many veg! We had the Sunday roast and couldn’t fault it!

Good service and attentive front of house staff both of whom were well trained Decor very nice Food was pricey and not especially memorable. Sliced packet white bread (eg kingsmill) with the mussels was not very good. Burger was very small. All portions were on the small side.
