By far the best place for food in Herefordshire and probably a lot further. No matter what you order on the menu you will not be disappointed. You can tell that the chefs here know what they are doing and have a passion for food, as this isn’t just any ordinary country pub, The service was amazing, our waiter George was attentive, polite and down to earth. He was on the ball all night never letting our glasses be empty and making sure we had a great night. Even after all that amazing food and service when it came to the bill, we were not made too feel awkward with the tip option shoved I our face, we had to ask to give a tip which was very refreshing, and made us feel like we were doing something nice instead of being expected to do so. Overall I have to say hats off to the team, we had a brilliant night, we will 100% be back again. Thank you.

What a beautiful place. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and friendly staff. The menu is great with a good variety of options. We were celebrating a couple of milestones with some friends and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be back!

Excellent meal. Smoked haddock starter, lamb rump main and a cheeseboard to finish. Service was very good, staff all friendly and helpful.
