As the first uptown New York location for legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, we opened with much anticipation in the summer of 2005.Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and Hollywood film producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature new style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Tiradito Nobu Style and Black Cod Miso. The restaurant received three stars from the New York Times.

    Celebrate Mother's Day with an elevated brunch experience at Nobu Fifty Seven. Enjoy our special Brunch Prix Fixe Menu featuring a zensai, family-style dishes, a choice of main course, and dessert for $95 per person. A kid’s bento is also available for $38, and our à la carte menu will be offered as well. Brunch is served from 11:45 AM to 2:30 PM. To make the day even more special, pre-order our Pastry Chef’s hand-painted Sesame-Kinako Crunch Bar, beautifully wrapped and ready to gift for $22.

    Normally one of my dafoeite sushi spots. We had the Omakasa and it was just okay. I didn’t find the sashimi nearly as fresh as it’s been in the past.

    Nobu Food is always a good culinary experience. Service at this location was not great. Our server looked annoyed to be there and he barely spoke. He just wasn’t very personable.

    We had a time issue with the meal. Waiter seemed to suggest it was not his problem and could care less. We ordered our food - waiter didn’t write down and got the order wrong. Very bad experience - especially given the price.
