One Pico Ratings and Reviews
Got this name from friends who visited Dublin about a month ahead of us. They just raved about it, so I booked a table for a busy Thursday night. One Pico completely lived up to our friends' recommendation: excellent service, nice atmosphere, center-city location, and of course most of all excellent food. We are passing along our recommendation to other friends headed to Dublin in September.
Myself and a friend had a most enjoyable lunch on Sunday afternoon. The food was beautiful, tasty and very aesthetically presented. The desserts were particularly noteworthy with fresh, delicate, light flavours. The sommelier was very attentive and offered an excellent wine list at reasonable prices. Staff were appropriately engaging. The dining service was relaxed, professional and well paced.
I would recommend 'One Pico' as a truly enjoyable dining experience. Thanks to all for a classy lunch.
Food was good. Wine was also fine. We ended up paying 75 a head for lunch which is very high. 4 of the table ordered beer. They used 3 bottles of Heineken for 4 glasses. At 7 euro a glass that's cheap behaviour. The 12.5% service charge is too high as is charging for side dishes
Restaurant is tucked away off the busy streets of Dublin city center. We went for a date night while in Dublin on vacation. The service was great. The Sommelier for the evening did a wine pairing with each course and did an excellent job. The food was excellent with lots of wonderful flavors paired perfectly together. We had such a great experience we went back for a second dinner on the last night of our trip. We will definitely recommend One Pico to friends visiting Dublin.
As a gift for my husband on his 50th bday I choosed one pico restaurant.
He is a fine diner guy!
My son and I also enjoyed the meal, but our daughter ,age12,wished for something less complicated:)
I would definitely come back if I will come back to Dublin.
Thank you for making the dessert plate so beautiful for him !

Truly outstanding in every way, and a very pleasant discovery on our weekend trip to Dublin. Though I had heard about One Pico for many years, had I known it would be so truly exceptional I would have dined there much sooner! From the warm welcome, the atmosphere, the service, the presentation, the wines and most of all the exquisite food, I can recommend this to anyone who likes good food in a refined setting, friendly but very professional. A true pleasure in every way. Wouldn't change a single thing, except I wish Paris were closer to Dublin. Thanks to the host and staff for an unforgettable meal. We will be back soon and often.
Very interesting courses but unfortunately only a preset menu available when we had our lunch. As a result, we had to have courses we would not have ordered. Portions on the small side, but we didn't leave hungry. Service and wine list outstanding. Would love to return to try other items when they have their regular menu and not just the holiday menu available.
Forset and Marcy whales over this place. The service here left much to be desired vacillating between frenetic and neglectful. The wine steward lacked elegance, the maître d'hôtel was arrogant and unwelcoming casting an unfavorable shadow on an otherwise talented but possibly overrated kitchen. The butternut risotto dish was excellent as was the apple soufflé.
