Eamonn O"Reilly chef patron opened One Pico in 1997. From the outset, it was his intention to serve the very best food in relaxed, informal but luxurious surroundings.
In One Pico it's not particularly about gadgets and tricks it's about the best in modern classical cooking with flavour and seasonality been paramount.

Celebrating our brother’s birthday. Atmosphere and food were fantastic as was the service - made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.
Wow - best meal I’ve had in a long long time! Every mouthful was different flavors ... amazing !! 10/10
Travelling in Ireland, Dublin our last city before heading home to New Jersey. Exceptional resturant.
We had a most gorgeous meal .Could not fault it in any way.Wonderful experience in every way. Please compliment the chefs and staff on their professionalism and extremely high standards .A truely superb meal.Have booked again for Christmas lunch and it’s only July!
A very relaxed lunch with family, attentive staff, excellent food
Super food, and super service. Highly recommended.
We had a nice meal in One Pico, but unfortunately didn't live up to our expectations. All round the starters were excellent and the service at the start of the meal was fantastic.
However there seemed to be a change in shift and the staff in the second half of the meal weren't as attentive, at the end of the meal we had to walk up to reception to get our bill. The vegetarian option was very colourless and although flavoursome was too salty, meal was not balanced. The chicken dish was superb, apart from being pink in the centre, with blood clots and grizzle, although two people had the same dish and theirs was perfect. When we pointed this out to the staff member they just fobbed us off. The wine was excellent, but they opened another bottle without letting us know that our bottle was finished, the same with the water. When you keep the bottles out of sight, you should let your clientele know this. Ended up being a much more expensive lunch than expected.
The desserts were lovely and coffee was excellent. We had a lovely lunch, but it definitely fell down in certain areas. Has a lot of potential to be better. Probably won't return because of the limited vegetarian dish.
Lovely dinner. Very nice staff. A little more expensive than usual, for me, but the tastes and flavours were worth every cent. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely go back.
Superb scallops, foie gras, halibut, desserts and wine. Top class presentation and service.
Michelin standard but without the star.
As usual a great evening the service is always impeccable. The staff is so professional and always have a smile for you. Arnaud the somelier is a gem, if you don't know what to choose ask him... he always find something that compliment so well the food. And if you know your stuff, he is well able to talk about it too. The food was once more delicious especially the Monk Fish! Divine!
We have been coming to One Pico, for 8 years now at least once a year and we have never been disappointed by the food or the staff!
Make sure to book in advance for avoid disappointment!
We were quite disappointed with our dinner in One Pico. We were there before about 2-3 years ago on a pre-theatre menu, and I remember it was a great experience. This time we went for dinner. Everything started poorly, as we were seated next to a loud group of people. There were only 3-course set menus available, which was quite a lot for us, as we don't eat that much. The food was good, but I was expecting something better. The presentation of the dishes was fantastic. Unfortunately, the taste didn't follow on the same level. Overall, that was a good but pricey dinner. For three people with a total of 5 glasses of wine, we paid 270€ plus a tip.
Lovely food at good value especially pre theatre menu. Service was excellent.
Wonderful dinner in One Pico. Excellent service, lovely staff, delicious food & good atmosphere.
Thank you all
The restaurant was very quiet when we were there. We were met by a very friendly gentleman who looked after us very well all night. The staff are excellent. The food was excellent also, my husband had the chicken liver parfait, which he said was the best he had ever tasted, he then had the lamb. I had the goats cheese and beetroot, which was delicious and then I had the turbot which again was faultless.
We had a side order of hispi cabbage which was very tasty bit extremely difficult to cut ( I had to borrow my husbands steak knife to cut through the stalks!)
The wine list is quite expensive.
A last minute booking and was surprised to have gotten a table for 4 on a Saturday night. Arrived on time and were greeted by very friendly staff , we were brought to our table and from there on the night was most enjoyable . The food was excellent from start to finish as was the service . I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back . 5 star.
We were a party of three who enjoyed lunch in One Pico. We were made very welcome from the minute we steped in the door. Beautifully presented dishes and very imaginative. The beetroot merangues have since become a talking point! Wines too were very good suggestions.
food was excellent. I would have given 5 but the dessert "Rum Babba" was an assembly rather than organic. the last time i was here the dessert i choose was terrific. This is a lovely place to dine and staff are charming.
best food in Dublin for the money ( 55 euro for 3 course ).
Mates 40th. All was great great. Not a bad word to say. On the ball.
We had a fantastic dinner in One Pico last Friday night. The food was absolutely excellent and everyone enjoyed their choices. I took photos of my courses of what were very artistically presented dishes and very high quality, tasty food. The staff were very friendly and efficient and service was very smooth. A very memorable occasion and we all really enjoyed eating in this classy restaurant. Well done to all the chefs and service staff and thank you!
Really great food, seasonal menu, excellent service, lovely wine list
We found this off the beaten path and within walking distance from hotel. After eating so we’ll all week in Dublin, we really did not seek out special, but we were surprised how special this place was compared to our other choices. As my boss said, “hidden gem.”
Don’t hesitate! And get the cheese. :-)
Tucked away in downtown Dublin, One Pico is an excellent restaurant. It is small and very intimate. The service is performed by top notch professionals who are willing to please, but are unobtrusive. The food is creative, appealing to the eye and very delicious. It i not cheap but worth every penny. You would miss out on something special id you were in Dublin and missed an opportunity to dine here.
We have eaten here a number of times and is normal great, however got the fish this time and it was raw, the staff were very nice however, they only took €10 of the bill for the fish being raw, which I felt was not good enough.
The food was incredible although the menu is limited. Service was very efficient but not intrusive. Really looking forward to eating there again.
Excellent on all levels, maybe a bit pricey. Both my children (young adults) said it was the best food they had ever eaten in a restaurant. It was very tasty and presentation was excellent. Lovely relaxing decor. This is a place where one should be prepared to spend some time while eating out in order to make the most of the special athmosphere and food.
lovely meal. Some fairly standard items (like Onion soup) done so brilliantly and served so creatively that they became instant special treats!
Wine good and fair range of prices.
and pre-theater deal is great value!!
Its amazing place, very romantic atmosphere , food it’s be excellent! High recommend for everyone.
Absolutely fabulous meal and service fantastic, worth travelling from Belfast.
I really enjoyed my dining experience at One Pico. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly.
Spectacular meal, wonderful ambience. Sadly, indifferent service.
A real pleasure to dine at One Pico!
Great food, wine and super processional but friendly service... I will return!
Food was absolutely delicious, a little on the pricey side in general but considering the standard of the food, not overly expensive. Our waiter was very charming and friendly.
My only criticism was the restaurant was a little too bright and there was no background music at all to create a nice ambience, just my opinion.
Also, the man pouring our water, poured with vigor to put it lightly. More finess would create a higher end image for one Pico.
having taken the time to inform the restaurant that there was two kids , this was not catered for.
Charging 40 euro ahead for a 9 and 11 year old is poor
while the food was very good it is not value for money
2nd time here. Previosly in Polo dining room for my brother's private stag party. Staff, Service and Cuisine remain excellent. One Pico is truly a real treat for many special occasions and good to impress for business lunch/dinners. Allez One Pico! 😁
We were entertaining American visitors. We had a most enjoyable meal. The food was excellent as was the wine. The service was a bit slow but it was only a Tuesday night. It wasn't a problem.
It was quiet and pleasant.
Excellent experience, love the food and the ambience, perfect for a special occasion!
Lovely lunch, great service, very nice surroundings. Highly recommended.
Always a fantastic experience at One Pico. We will be back
Thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful evening in One Pico. Everything was perfect!
