   Lovely ambiance. Wonderful menu selections and choices. Friendly service, making us feel super welcome. Fennel and honey gelato was a game changer. Would def come again.

   Lovely spot, our cocktails were delicious, the food is delicious as well. Even though, I found the portion of my pasta ridiculous, for $30 a vegetarian meal can not be that small: it was about 6 little pasta pieces even though it was a main (Cappelletti verde, potato & gorgonzola, preserved lemon, walnuts, dandelion). Would not recommend that one in particular, other than that, great spot!

    The food and service were great.Unfortunately our party of six was seated in a small booth that would only be comfortable for four people. Our arms were touching each others and we could barely move.

    We loved our dinner at Osteria Savio! It was our first time and we now know what all the hype is about. The food was so delicious and creative - not your usual Italian fare. It was my son's birthday and they brought him a sprinkle-covered doughnut with a candle in it which was a nice touch. The waitress we had was very attentive to us and refilled our water before we ever needed to ask. A small detail, but we felt very well looked-after!

    Rob was the best! He was our server and we left it up to him to choose our 5 course meal. I don’t think he could have done any better. Every dish was amazing. Definitely coming back.

    Will definitely return. Great atmosphere. Great service. Food very good. Didn’t love my pasta choice but that’s on me. No complaints with anyone in our party.

    We had a wonderful time here. Did the sampling menu. They will ask if you have any foods you can’t or don’t like to eat then they take care of the rest. Every dish was delicious. This is my favourite Italian restaurant in Vancouver.

    Great service, the sommelier came to our table and served our wine and shared some of her knowledge. I would highly recommend the chefs tasting menu! *of note* I am gluten free and the kitchen was extremely accommodating :)

    A great Vancouver restaurant. Noise levels much too high. The lamb appetizer was tasty, crisp texture and pleasantly chewy. The chicory salad lacked acidity hence rather tasteless. The tortellini pasta and papardelle were both perfectly al dente. Service prompt and friendly. Again the noise levels could be a deal breaker for some people.

    Had a super lovely time celebrating our anniversary last night. We ordered the custom 6 course meal and it was so exciting and amazing. We were SO FULL once we had gotten though all the courses. The Sicilian G&T was also delicious.

    Pros: The Tagliatelle is out of this world! Food was some of the best I've tried in Vancouver. But bear in mind it's pricey. We paid $156 for 2 entrees 2 plates and 2 drinks including tip. And I'd say it was too much food for 2. Cons: I don't like that they give you the machine to pay with 18% tip as the first option and stare and you while you pay. I don't mean to be rude but nobody should get more than 10% tip. (If a tip a all). Restaurants need to start paying their staff fairly.

    Excellent food. Excellent service. Server recommendations for tasting menu were excellent. At end of meal, the music level was raised too high and the air conditioning or something was turned on during our dessert which was freezing! Other than those mentioned environmental issues, the food was outstanding.

    Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with Salvio Volpe and it did not disappoint. Bagna crudo was an outstanding start to the meal and rest of our dishes were excellent. I was surprised to be seated at the bar given I had made the reservation several months in advance but appreciate the “bubbles” sent over by the house when they learned we were celebrating.

    It was the first time we had the pleasure of dining at Savio Volpe and it was excellent from start to finish. The food was so delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. It was very busy and noisy, so if you are looking for a quiet, intimate dinner this is not the place. However the food was the best we’ve had so far and well worth it. We will return many times!

    Food was good as usual. Service usually is 5/5, but the server this visit had a bit of an attitude. We were just wondering what a chocolate sorbetto was as we have only ever had fruity sorbets, but the server looked at us like we were stupid and said, "you don't know what a gelato is? It's a gelato. A gelatos a gelato". Only when we pressed him further did he finally explain that it just didn't have milk. We ordered it, he went to go speak to some other table for 10 min, and then came back later and asked if the sorbetto was all we wanted before actually putting through the order. A small stain on an otherwise good dinner experience

    It was my mom’s “last supper” before her dental surgery (no solid foods for two months) and every dish hit the mark. Service was great, portions were more than reasonable and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back when I’m next in Vancouver. Thank you for a great time!

    The food is good, but I think I expected more. I wanted to be surprised with it (because of the prices and reviews). The place is too noisy and you have to shout a little bit to talk to other people. Also tables are too close to each other.
