Excellent long lunch at the Oxo Tower restaurant. Food and wine was superb with an amazing view! Highly recommend it
First visit Monday lunchtime for birthday celebration.
Surprised by how few diners there were but that suited us well. Slightly faded/tatty feel especially on looking at the outside seating area. Would go again. Warm welcome,
Slightly cold room
Very quick later service with polite and kind servers
Good came slow initially and then quick when second course began
Good wine list although not extensive...which is good.
Slightly overpriced for what isn’t fine dining
Lovely meal, Wood Pigeon Soup was the outstanding dish of the meal. Service was second to none, would definitively recommend.
Celebrated sister's birthday, service, food and setting perfect. Would certainly book again and recommend.
Great food, great service would recommend. Best restaurant by far and will be returning
Beautiful setting with great views of London across the Thames. Very good food.
Service was excellent and the view outstanding. Food could have been better - not exceptional.
Lovely lunch in beautiful surroundings. Service was attentive and the food very tasty. I would certainly recommend.
We had the special fixed menu at a fixed price. Thought it would be spartan or the ‘poor mans’ equivalent to the a la carte, but no! The food was wonderful and the ambience of the OXO tower is still superb :)
This my first time at the OXO Tower. I will be back. Great food, wine and service with a fantastic view of the Thames and London. Can't wait for summer to come so I can enjoy a drink on the terrace.
Absolutely lovely. Venue, and service from all staff from reception to the dining table was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the canapes, starters, main & my favorite the 'dessert -ganache chocolate' could have been bigger.
However, would highly recommend my friends, family & colleagues at work.
Mr & Mrs C Woodstock
I suppose one would not expect the restaurant to be bursting full on a very wet mid October lunchtime but I was surprised that far less than half the tables were occupied especially so because when I booked I was told that we should be prepared to vacate our table by 2:30 to allow for the next sitting. By the time we left at about quarter to three the place was all but empty.
We had a great lunch the food was good and the portions modest, as I prefer. The only complaint would be that I felt the before lunch drinks were overpriced as was the wine menu generally with little at the modest end of the scale.
Fabulous service from start to finish ..staff are attentive but no invasive , knowledgeable on both on the food and accompanying wine ..sommelier was patient with our naivety and picked perfectly
Amazing views, service, and food!! Really enjoyed the date night :)
Trip to London
The treatment received was amazing, we celebrate our anniversary there, and the chefs write down a sentence to my wife. The views are stunning, and the food is amazing.
Iconic restaurant with an an amazing view over the Thames and the Fleet Street area of central London. Food excellent; service immaculate.
Food is in small portions and very expensive. Staff take a while to take your oder at times. View is great and drinks are good but again overpriced.
The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Reception staff were very efficient, waiting staff very knowledgeable about the menu and checked about any possible allergies and the wine waiter very helpful. All the staff we saw very extremely pleasant and a credit to the restaurant.
The menu was interesting and diverse offering vegetarian and vegan options and the food when it arrived was superb both in quality and presentation.
The restaurant was clean, bright and a great location and even though it was Sunday lunchtime and busy the noise levels were just right.
one point which really impressed me was the fact that although we were eating on an offer (London Restaurant festival month) at no time were we treated any differently then those dining 'a la carte', a point other restaurants really should take note of.
I would have no hesitation in either returning or recommending OXO Tower to others.
Atmosphere staff and food fab.
Will definately be returning very soon.
I will be recommending it to friends and family
Was really nice! Great service when wanting to order and made amazing cocktails
The food and service was exquisite which made the occasion special.
Food was outstanding and this is an exceptionally well run restaurant with incredible views. My only negative was having my wine choice criticised but I believe the waitress was trying to be helpful.
I had a fantastic evening, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I will definitely book to go here again
Great to spend time in an iconic building coupled with the enjoyment of an exclusive lunch, good value.
Very good food and service. The staff were very attentive. Great views of London and the river.
Fabulous venue with views across the Thames to St Paul’s, very relaxed ambience, good place to meet and chat. We had the £39 daytime offer of three courses with glass of champagne which is great value and lovely food. The service and attention was first class. Our only complaint was that they clearly seek to push up the £££ per head with drinks which are horrendously expensive - cheapest glass of wine around £10-11 and that’s just a small glass, cheapest bottle starts around £40, and you can easily pay £60-£70 plus for anything better than “house wine”! That gripe aside, we had a wonderful meal and experience there which I would recommend to anyone!
Food was delicious, great menu selection, portion size more than adequate. Bit pricey and the wine list is intimidating but you are in the oxo tower with great feeling and views of the Thames
Excellent Lunch and very many thanks to our waitress who took time to explain which items could be made gluten free, she certainly went above and beyond . I will be coming back very soon. The only cheeky thing was being charged for a bottle of water, then being topped up with tap water.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and a decent selection of good wine to choose from.
Nice resturant, we had excellent service and enjoyed the London Festival menu.
We had a table by the window, with a lovely view over southbank at sunset. The service was very friendly, prompt and professional. Our food from the London Festival menu was delicious, and so value for money. It was our 25th wedding anniversary, so a fittingly lovely experience! I have dined here before, and will do again.
Came here to enjoy the London Restaurant Festival menu for lunch. Have been wanting to come here for a nice meal for some time and the LRF menu made it really good value. The restaurant is lovely with amazing views and friendly service from all the staff. The food was very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for special occasions.
An amazing experience!
We did the set menu and also tested the kids menu. Was worth every penny and one of the best menus I’ve tasted in a long while
I could’ve spent a lot less and have much better food. Felt annoyed at what I ended up paying.
Good restaurant, good service, good food - but not unforgettable. Bit pricey for what it is, but a decent experience overall.
Lovely restaurant with a fantastic view whilst you eat. The service was fantastic and the staff were very attentive. The timing of the food was good with a good waiting time between courses and the food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and re-visit to try more of the menu.
We were here for a special occasion. The view and atmosphere was lovely, very relaxing indeed. Unfortunately the food didn’t match up to the view. I’ve been to the brasserie before and that was outstanding, but the restaurant wasn’t good. My starter of pork belly was bland, and the main of lamb had unrendered fat and was chewy.
I’d definitely return to the brasserie, but not the restaurant.
Wine chap was very lovely, our main waiter however was a little bit grumpy.
Fantastic setting, view was appreciated by our guests from overseas. Food superb and service faultless. Can’t praise enough, a great evening.
