Food was superb and beautifully presented.
Service was pleasant and friendly.
Definitely will be returning in the near future!
A magic Crew led by Vincenzo and all his Team!
Delicious food! Lovely restaurant. Only criticism is that the door was open, with a hefty draft! I asked a waiter to close it and they agreed to but didnt! Had to wear my jacket! Otherwise lovely!
Perfectly good food in pleasant surroundings and decent service was marred by one thing. My partner ordered a calzone pizza and, whilst it was tasty and crisp, he was disappointed to find no egg inside as is usually the case. When the staff asked if we had enjoyed the meal he mentioned this. He was informed rather patronizingly that their chef is from Naples and he doesn't put an egg in calzone pizza. Well, we have had calzone pizza in Naples as well as many other places in Italy and elsewhere and always with an egg!
We were given free coffee to compensate for our disappointment and the meal was good in every other respect but we were left feeling as though we were treated as silly foreigners who didn't know what we were talking about. I would suggest that the staff look up calzone pizza on wikipedia as it confirms that it comes from Naples and usually contains an egg. If Pacino's choose to serve it without one they should mention this on the menu - perhaps offer to serve with the egg if the customer prefers. And don't treat the customer as a fool - it may be someone important!
Great food and great ambiance ! After a walk in Dublin, it's a pleasure to eat in this restaurant .
Excellent food - very Italian flavours and early bird was really excellent value. Service was hit and miss but staff polite. Felt Management could make more of their fine premises - decor had a New Orleans vibe but food was Italian so confusing identity which takes somewhat from the overall ambiance - will likely go back and try again!
Good meal and excellent service!
Birthday celebration. Lovely background music not too loud. Lovely waitress and lovely food. It was s bit expensive but otherwise surroundings were very comfortable and great atmosphere
Four of us had a lovely meal here on Sat March 9th. The service was excellent and the food very good. I was particularly pleased with the Vegan menu and my vegan meal was delicious and well presented. In fact the reason I selected your restaurant was because if offered a Vegan menu. People like me are weary of having very little choice in Irish restaurants and often having to order a salad and chips!
A lovely experience. Location was also a factor in selecting the venue as it is very convenient just off Grafton Street. Thank you. Sinead Boland
It was an unexpected surprise. The food was off the charts delicious. The charcuterie board was sublime. Prosecco was served with a side of strawberries. It was a great last dinner in Dublin!
Had friends from US over. The staff were very welcoming and the ambiance was lovely. It was a very busy evening and the service was slow. The starter and main courses were good but the desserts were disappointing.
Very central-a busy vibe early in the evening. Tasty food. Service was very rushed-we really felt they wanted the table back-that was our only flaw.
Lovely meal after the pantomime in the Gaiety!
Very good food and atmosphere. For a person with a disability it's very awkward to get to the bathroom .
Food was good. Service needs work. Waitress took our order didn’t write it down and then brought wrong dish. Sat there for 20 minutes waiting while my family had their dinners. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night?
They didn’t have the opentable reservation
Really enjoyed mid week meal here on a cold Autumn evening. Very cosy and good food. Would have stayed later but it was clear that we had to move on 🤓
Pacino's have managed to maintain a high standard over many years, which is why I - and other family members - return time and time again.
Overall of 4 stars because my first time here was Sunday and they were short in staff and service was very slow. Food only for brunch, it was OK and food taste very good, however after many recommendations, I will need to come back for dinner or lunch on Saturday to really know how the full menu is and taste, and hope they have more staff.
I always eat here when visiting Dublin and I've never been disappointed, good food, friendly feel and excellent service.
Absolutely amazing staff and food. This will be "our" restaurant in Dublin. Loved everything.
Pizza was amazing!!!!!! the Best and I've been to Amalfi, Venice etc! Highly recommend!!!! I'll be back
Great food, and a decent price, one of my favourite places to eat in Dublin
Staff seemed inconvenienced to serve us for Some reason! Food was nice.
We made a 7 person reservation 1 hour before and we had a great experience. Servers all were friendly and food was all very good. Travelling from Canada and this was our best restaurant experience of our trip.
Very convenient location, friendly staff. Both food and service were excellent.
Nuts in a lot of dishes, especially deserts, on the menu not leaving much choice for those with nut allergies
Great place with great food. Went back again this week. Only feedback was gnocchi ran out and we couldn’t order. But we did order on the 2nd trip and it was worth it.
I have no idea if this restaurant changed hands or chef recently. Food used to be amazing but I have visited twice recently and the food was extremely disappointing on both occasions.
Sehr lautes und unruhiges Umfeld, Bedienung war sehr bemüht, leider nicht alle Bestellungen erhalten. Pizza war sehr gut.
Portion size for money paid very small. We ordered Gnocchi which was literally smaller than an appetizer size. The chicken was so so.
And there could be no variations. All I asked was can you add more veggies to the penne, and was told no.
When I asked "why not, you have the veggies, and you can charge me", the server said, "our chef doesnt want to mess up his signature dishes". Lollll. I didn't tell her that a chef who isn't creatively flexible is no chef!!!
What I asked wasn't anything too difficult. We are vegetarians for religious reasons and I have never been to a restaurant where a vegetarian pasta with additional veggies wasn't made for me upon request.
Also, the waitress came to table once to take order and never returned. We and another patron began to go downstairs to request the check when she came up and asked, "oh, you dont want anything else?"
The head server/greeter was snotty, as if giving us a table was not in his interest. When we first walked in, he said, "we're booked for at least 2 hours, if you'd like to check back later". That's when we booked on open table and voila, we had a table within 30 minutes.
Too bad, cause the food was delicious. But I go to restaurants for the vxx entire dining experience and will rank higher those who offer good service and mediocre food than restaurants like this one that has great food, good ambience, but poor service.
Nice place! A solid choice for our last night in Dublin, since we didn't want to over-do it.
Great Italian plate near Trinity College Dublin. Will return.
The service was very slow. While the food was good value, the wine was very expensive. One of our table was told that she could only order two glasses when she asked for a third. The food was mediocre-some of the dishes were only lukewarm.
Had dinner with a friend here before a concert one evening and loved the place. The atmosphere was light yet intimate. Staff were friendly and not overly intrusive. We both ordered lasagna (I wish my dinner partner had ordered something else so I could give a broader review of the food here). It came in good time and was tasty, if not a bit fatty. It didn't seem like high-quality ingredients had been used. Perhaps that's what one would expect when not paying a lot for it? Either way, it sufficed.
The dessert, on the other hand - was delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again. I had the lavender and coconut panna cotta, which was served in a beautifully ornate porcelain cup with a scoop of coconut ice cream on the saucer. My partner devoured her ice cream and sorbet.
Overall, I would recommend people try this place out. It's got a good atmosphere, it's authentic, unique, the staff are friendly, and the food (especially the desert) is quite good.
I was looking for a late date night meal at the last minute, you could easily expect reduced quality with only the hope of a decent atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised with a lovely meal (I had duck, better half had a burger) and great atmosphere. Plenty of wine and great location central to everything, though O’donoghues is a must across the road.
We were out for a meal for 2 on a special occasion, when we were seated and served our food a table for 4 to our left was turned and rearranged for seating for 6 people. This had a very bad impact on our whole experience, due to the fact we then had the backs of the people seated there in very close proximity to us which impinged on our privacy. Also when the staff were serving this and other tables and people going to use the toilets we felt like we were eating in a corridor due to this table rearrangement. Our evening was cut short and spoiled as a result of this. When leaving we made our views know to the manager who seemed to be totally uninterested in our evenings experience.
I was trying to find a tasty pizza in Dublin, and I got it at Pacino's. I will come back to try other options from the menu!
Had the lasagna and seafood linguine, the food was flavorful and served promptly. The service was slow and hard to find, starting after being seated at our table. Our evening started with a new waitress, we ordered a bottle of J Lohr Chardonnay and she brought 2 glasses of a French wine. Our food was delicious and decent portions.
Went to Pacinos on Friday evening to meet my daughter from college for an hour. The food and service were excellent. The only downside was the space between seat and table is very tight and I’m a size 8. Lovely experience though
