Another great dining experience. Wife and I just because we wanted a nice time out and Passionfish is reliably nice. The biscuits look expensive at $4 each but are to die for and can easily be split. I got the lamb and my wife got a sea bass special. Perfect and we got a nice wine to complement both at around $50. Dessert choices look good though not a fan of the Roquefort ice cream. Lovely all around!! Will go back

What a wonderful experience from reservation to meal. We had the most romantic table and friendly knowledgeable staff to review specials and tips on what to order from menu. Two half bottles of wine- white for me & red for my husband. Food was fantastic and priced so well. We could not have asked for more. Wish we lived closer to go every week 💕

Very nice experience at PassionFish. I can't say enough about the service, excellent. The appetizers are stellar, and the entrees were fine, but underseasoned. The halibut with chili oil I expected to have loads of flavor, and although the fish was cooked perfectly, left something wanting...just bland. The duck confit was excellent however! Cute place, would go back, just maybe order differently. The wine list was fabulous, and well priced! No bar, which is unfortunate as some in our party did not care for wine or beer, and would have preferred a cocktail.

We had a wonderful dinner starting with scallop and the green salad. Yum. Husbands had the special black cod and I had albacore tuna entree. And two butter biscuits. Delicious. Banana bread pudding was the perfect capper. Very special place.

First time eating at Passionfish on our wedding anniversary and it was fantastic! Warm, attentive service. Perfectly executed food. Great wine options and pricing. Had the rainbow trout and black cod special and both were 10/10.

Service was outstanding and our server was very attentive. The food and presentation was outstanding. Tables are a bit close and when you have a loud or self-absorbed person sitting next to you, you can be part of the discussion.

Inventive dishes and presentations and a confident hand in bringing flavor combinations forward. A well curated wine list with a nice selection of half bottles. Attentive service. An outstanding dinner all around.

Longtime fans of Passionfish, this is the second time in a couple of months we've eaten there. Unfortunately, the trend from last time continued. We were disappointed. For example, food wasn't fully cooked for 2 of our party and when we mentioned it, it took >10 minutes for the food to be returned from the kitchen indicating to us that we did not skip to the front of the food prep line. The rest of our party was nearly done with their food by the time the not-fully-cooked food was returned. Also, while they have an impressive wine list and wine bottle prices are very reasonable, it took >10 minutes to figure out what wine would work because the waiter lacked knowledge of the wines on the list. More than once, he had to consult others about making a recommendation for us. In years past, that has never been the case so we're left to surmise that management has changed hands or that all the staff is new. Either way, this will be our last time eating there after >15 years.

Remains our favorite high-end restaurant in Pacific Grove. Food is superb without being pretentious, wine list the same and reasonably priced. Service is helpful and attentive but not obtrusive. Just about perfect!
