This was our first time to Autograph. We really liked the food and the ambiance, and Alex our server was great. We had the Compressed Watermelon appetizer which was amazing, as well as the Burrata with Cherries and Pistachios. Both were very delicious. My wife had the 8 oz Filet, which was cooked perfectly, and the Au Poivre sauce put it over the top. I had the Lobster Gnocchi Sardi - Wow! is all I can say; it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Of course I talked her into sharing the Signature Sundae, and It did not disappoint.
I have a service dog and they did ask me for an "ID card" to allow her in. According to the Americans With Disabilities act I am not required to give a form of ID for my service dog. She is required to know tasks to help mitigate my disability, and should not be a nuisance in public. Once I explained this they were understanding, but in the future it would be good for people working there to know to ask the following questions instead of asking for ID: (1) whether the animal is required because of a disability; and (2) what work or task the animal has been trained to perform.
This is the best meal we have had in quite awhile! Everything was excellent, from the salad and the best hamachi crudo ever to the filets oscar we had, cooked perfectly and loaded with lump crabmeat! Add that to some great cocktails and it was the perfect dinner to start 2023 off with!!! Cheers!
