Always amazing here! My favorite!!!
Fantastic experience. Cozy enough space but still holds plenty of folks. The environment is lively, hip, classy... fun.
The food was delicious and amply sized. They have a fair beer selection with a couple of solid ones to rely on and these days a nice place that specializes more in wine.. finding even one 'Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA' stands for itself.
Highly recommend reservations. We got in there at 5:30 & by 6:30 on a Thursday.. the place was sold out.
FYI.. they have a private parking lot as well.... in Birmingham!
We will absolutely be back.
Service by John was excellent. Unfortunately my veal chop that I had heard so much about was not. Came to the table very rare which of course was a major delay time my eating. Disappointing. I’m sure you know it takes away from the experience, especially on New Years Eve.
Very expensive for a Lebanese restaurant with small portions. Has a Birmingham,MI crowd which may explain the cost. Three people, four glasses of wine, a few apps and main courses over $300.
Great food, great ambiance both for business or friends. Good service just a little slow on the bill.
Will definitely be back.
Had to tell waiter to slow down the pace
Met our expectations
Excellent food and service!
Always fantastic! Best in BIRMINGHAM!
Can always expect fresh food and fabulous service!Once again we were not disappointed, fresh ingredients, prepared perfect and good efficient service.
Excellent as always.
Waiter was great in explaining some unfamiliar dishes. The table was ready and it was a good value
Food was exceptional tonight!
Great service and great experience. I’d like to see more specials to choose from but I’ll definitely be back.
Always excellent food and service!
Great food and great service, but a bit loud for a business lunch.
Lovely restaurant and fantastic service.
One of my favorite restaurants. Always a good place to meet friends for a great meal. The food is always good and the atmosphere is great. High energy and fun.
Excellent food.
Good service.
Pricey but most know that going in.
We went for lamb chops and we're not disappointed . Looking forward to next time.
Love this place! Finest Lebanese food i have ever tasted! Always fresh and full of flavor! I always get fantastic service! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to get back and eat more ☺️
The best restaurant in Birmingham! I love the food, and the ambience! White table cloths but not stuffy at all! Best bronzino ever!
Always outstanding!! A favorite of ours
Long time Phonicia eater since they moved to Birmingham. Food quality is excellent and great atmosphere.
Great food, great service!!!
Went here while visiting MI for a late dinner. Moderate crowd and prompt service. Our waiter and hostess were very customer focused and attentive. The buser not so much. Came by and literally threw silverware on table, no pardon me, excuse me, etc.
All in all, would likely try again when in town.
Always always outstanding. Best in class. Best in BIrmingham.
The ribs and kibble nyeh are the best around. Lebanese Gin and Tonic is how I imagine the standard G&T should taste. Expensive but worth every penny.
An attorney I have been enjoying working with invited me to celebrate my promotion and we shared a variety of starters: Hummus, lamb tartar, roasted garlic cloves, sausages, mouhamara. Every single dish for itself and also as a combination was delicious, well balanced, flavorful, not overpowering. One of the best meals I had in a long time and the bahklava rounded it up nicely. We didn’t even make it to an entree, because these starters were plenty for two. Nate was a great waiter and made the right recommendations. Thank you
Fantabulous food, outstanding service.
Good service and simple food but expensive.
The best hummus! Also delicious
We were craving Chicken Gallaba and even thought it wasn't on the menu that night, they were very accommodating. A lovely place for dinner, excellent food and service.
Amazing! This is the best place around!
late afternoon at a sidewalk table on Old Woodward, great food, great service, perfect weather
We have dined at Phoenicia several times in the last few years and have always been pleased until last Saturday night. The close proximity of the tables, the noise elements present, and the barely competent service made for a long evening. Our server was just “ok,” certainly not particularly interested in being friendly or helpful. My main criticism has to do with the vegetable platter that I ordered (three out of seven offerings). The selections were exceedingly bland; not much flavor in anything, all tasted the same. The lentil dish was so dry that we had to ask for yogurt to moisten it.
Unfortunately the blandness of the dinner combined with the lackluster service will cause us to select another restaurant next year when we go to the Dream Cruise.
Always great
Always a delicious dinner with warm and sweet wait staff!!!
One of our favorite places to dine!!
For the food, there are better places to go at a lower price point
Best Lebanese (or Mediterranean in general) in Michigan, hands dow. Great service, great food.
Meeting up with dear friends while I was in town from seattle. I always dine here when I’m back in Detroit.
