Piccolo Restaurant of Huntington
A "faithful" crowd stays true to this upscale New American-Italian in Huntington, which "deserves its reputation" for "superb cuisine" spanning "delicious pastas" to "phenomenal meat and fish"; the "top-notch" service and "intimate" setting will "make any occasion special", but make sure to reserve ahead because the cozy "close quarters" fill up fast on the weekends.
Received the "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator in 2018.
$35 corkage fee on .750ml (we have a great selection of fairly priced wines)
$4pp cake cutting fee.
All of our desserts are baked daily by our pastry chef. If you would like us to make a personal cake for your special occasion please call for details.
Our last night before the restaurants shut down to diners, there is no place I would rather go with our family.
Great device, very accommodating, excellent food
Cannot get a bad meal at piccolo - always been the case
Dinner w friends was very good and the restaurant allowed us to linger after finishing
Had a great dinner to celebrate my daughter's 28th birthday. Service was great and the food was delicious! A little on the pricey side but that's due to their location. I'd recommend Piccolo's to anyone!!!
Outstanding food, atmosphere and service! Perfect place!
As always Piccolo is a neighborhood staple providing a warm inviting atmosphere, personalized service and great food.
A neighborhood classic, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Huntington. It can be a little noisy, especially in room behind the bar (I will NOT sit there anymore!) I always see people I know, the food is good and I feel "home" when I am here! Dean always knows me and greets me as a "regular"; his stand-in on Sunday night and our usual waiter (George) were welcoming and cordial but acted like I was a stranger.
You can always count on a great meal with a great and friendly staff!!
Very good but very crowded...
We love Piccolo’s! Best service in town, we often bring our young baby and they always kindly welcome us with a smile. Food is fantastic too.
My brothers, sister and in-laws had a wonderful time. They raved about the food. The service was impeccable--we will be back
outstanding evening as usual, have gone for valentines with the wife for the last 12 years
Worst filet mignon I ever had... it was chewy... a great piece of filet mignon cuts like butter... needed a hacksaw to cut this piece... at $55 for an 18 oz. Filet, expect better..
Service was slow... place was very noisy ...
The escargot came out warm... not hot... should be hot when served in the 6 hole ceramic that goes in oven... and flavoring was just okay...
Other food (2 of us) was good... not extraordinary...but good
We always enjoy dining at Piccolo! Excellent food and service!
Wonderful food and amazing service
Typically we have a relatively good experience. I only go for the duck, which is usually very good here. This time not so good and very disappointed. Will give it another try, but Grasso has a duck that is consistently amazing!!
+ALWAYS A JOY. THE FOOD IS WONDERFUL & THE SERVICE IS VERY ATTENTIVE.
Always the best!!
Love piccolos and have never had a bad meal.
Always a great meal. The ossobucco was tender & not fatty.
First time here. Parking was super easy and inside was pretty. Dining room is small and tables are close together so the busier it got the louder the room was. We ordered the creamy burrata without prosciutto - they brought it to the table with prosciutto and then charged me $5 extra for it. At $20 for an appetizer it was extremely disappointing. Burrata was tasteless and the bread wasn’t even toasted. We ordered chicken parmesan and chicken scarpariello. The chicken parm was very tasty and the portions are large. Overall I think we would try it again but it’s a pricey dinner that could be had elsewhere with a better experience.
That place was fine dining years ago. They let people in wearing T-shirts, sneakers jeans, boo. My French onion soup was on par with a chain bistro but not hot. My wife’s eggplant rollotini was not hot. My main course portion was skimpy, 4 scallops and a small pile of risotto for $39. Desserts in small bowls were presented on oversized plates with no artful touch. I won’t go back.
We’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience at Piccolo. Best restaurant on LI
We very much enjoyed our dining experience. Everyone at the table loved their meals and we ordered a variety of dishes. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the stuffed veal chop was positively delicious. Pasta dishes were tasty and of a good size. We look forward to returning.
Lived in Huntington / CSH area for 45 years. Piccolo never disappoints. Truly one if not the best restaurant in the area. Book early and enjoy an amazing dinner.
The food, ambiance, and service were superb. We had a traditional eggplant parmigiana which was perfect and a wonderful tuna steak that was so flavorful. It was a mix of traditional and modern cuisine. A true gem. We will be back!
This was my first visit to Piccolo with a friend who recommended it. From the time we arrived it was a pleasant experience. The service was impeccable...attentive but not rushed. Our drinks, appetizers and entrees were excellent. Piccolo is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in recent months and I’ll definitely be back. Worth every penny!
Amazing, Delicious, Always 5 star food and service!!
Best meal in Huntington. Good , staff and bar are the best Love this place.
Always the best. From food to service
Amazing food and fabulous service
Truly great place. The food was superb. The service was as first class as it gets.
Piccolo of Hunting never disappoints. We go there several times a year and it is always outstanding. It checks all the boxes, service superb, ambiance can't be beat, service is attentive without being bothersome, and to finish it off the food is always delicous.
Long wait for food service in between courses
Very good food but way too long a wait
Restaurant was uncomfortably hot with temp around 75 degrees Restaurant has always been a favorite but food not worth 2 1/2 hours for a 3 course meal especially while sweating from the heat
Food is ferric, and the staff works as a team and they are amazingly good
Very nice venue, outstanding service. Celebrated an early Christmas with friends. All our meals were cooked to perfection. The team of waiters were spot-on in terms of attention and menu knowledge. They were also very personable which we like. Definitely will come back. Thanks Piccolo!!!
The room is beautifully decorated. Service was outstanding. My husband and I shared eggplant meatballs as an appetizer- absolutely delicious. I had orichetti with sausage and spinach. Spicey and flavorful. Very large portion. My husband thought the carbonara was one of the best he ha. Looking forward to a return visit.
The greatest restsurant each and every time. It’s like a magic place that just keeps getting better. Love pics.
Everything was great until we got the bill there was a sharing charge ... to split an entrée considering we had a bunch of appetizers , main course and dessert and coffee and multiple drinks... I come there all the time and never once has this ever been added on kind of weird 👎turn off
