Rustic Root showcases a dynamic menu of rustic American cuisine with a spotlight on fresh and seasonal produce, meats, seafood, and house-made ingredients by our culinary team.  Our multi-level space includes a 500 square-feet downstairs patio that opens to the main dining room on the lower floor as well as the only rooftop restaurant in the Gaslamp. A full dining room boasts of eclectic flare: from a ceiling filled with floating colanders to chic nature-inspired wall art and décor. If it’s San Diego views you want, head upstairs to our spirited rooftop. Animal hedges, beautiful street lamps, and not-your-mama’s patio furniture create a buzz-worthy atmosphere, perfect for both large and small social and corporate events. Our craft cocktail program was thoughtfully designed to stay true to old favorites, following original recipes, down to their respective glassware. Each drink is paired with a unique garnish meant to complement each cocktail and pay homage to its intended flavor.
