   I had heard about Pure and wanted to visit but never had a reason to drive from the other side of town until I saw a Groupon for Sunday brunch so thought we would give it a try. We were greeted by a surly woman who asked how many in our party. I advised 2 and said we had an OpenTable reservation so that she could mark us checked in. She replied with a derisive shrug, as if to say, "Why are you telling me?" Gee, sorry, just trying to do the correct thing. She then, rather than taking us to a reserved table, said to sit anywhere. Ok fine. Unfortunately, there was nowhere to sit where we could escape the annoyingly loud music. Who wants to be assaulted with pop music for a casual brunch? I don't even understand the need for a DJ; it was just a string of songs that could have been replicated by Pandora or Spotify. The Groupon was for 2 entrees, and we picked what we wanted. One of our choices was an omelette even though it was the cheapest entree and wouldn't maximize the Groupon, that was our choice. Then we waited about 5 minutes for any server at all. I assumed we had been forgotten because we got no service at all. Finally a server arrives and I stated we had the Groupon. She pointed out what we could get; the problem is that she didn't mention omelettes. We mentioned we had planned on that, at which she said, no, the Groupon won't cover that (even though it was the least expensive option!). Disappointed, we ordered something else. The food arrived and was just ok. At the end of the meal, I looked for the restroom. Saw a women's room but none for men so asked a server, who pointed to one that was "gender neutral." It was 2 stalls without even a full separation between the them! There was a sign up saying it was to make patrons more comfortable, like single mothers. What?? So if I'm in there the same time as a single mother, that's MORE comfortable? Sounds like a policy driven more by chip-on-shoulder politics than simple logic and common sense. I won't be back.

   This was by far one of my disappointing restaurants in Charlotte. After searching for great pizza places, I stumbled across Pure Pizza online and make reservations to see if it was pleasing. The mushrooms and goat cheese was delicious and well prepared. Many selections in unique beers and a few selections of others. Warm water awaits your arrival at the table and serve in small mason jars that are already sitting at table as well. The pizza was okay, but not the "WOW" reaction I hoped for. Service was okay. The atmosphere had a basement appeal and poverty vibe. Although it was very laid back, the prices were too high for the quality in food, service, and muck appearance on the inside. I did like the washing tin inside the bathroom. Although, the décor is rustic and old fashion, improvements could be made to make it better. Nevertheless, If you want to go out and bar hop, this is right up you ally, so party on..! As for me, my first and last time for sure.

   Pure Pizza was delicious for brunch. It has the perfect combination of menu items for breakfast or lunch. Go with the Waffle Rancheros for sure, although its not a huge Belgian waffle like I thought. We ordered an amazing breakfast pizza with egg, too. It was spicy and delicious. I would definitely go back.

   Food was great and loved the idea of the honey for leftover crust. (Although I don't usually have any). Service was a bit slow. Only observed one waitress and she was doing the best she could.

   Food was delicious, even with the worst hangover I've had in years. It was a little loud in the joint, but again, if I weren't so hungover, it would not have been an issue. Thoroughly enjoyed everything!!!

   This place was the absolute best pizza I have ever had. Their pulled pork was also good enough to make a priest kick out a stained glass window. I will return. You should go. You'll return as well.

   Unique ingredient combos. Service suffered due to larger group party. Parking is limited. Only the owner is allowed to checkin patrons for open table...

   I made reservations but they didn't seem to know anything about it. They set the table once we arrived. We gathered for a special birthday. The pizza was good but the 7th street market location is much better (really, really great) for some reason. It was still a good experience.

    Great pizza, which we have had a hard time finding since moving from Chicago. Wonderful selection for vegans and vegetarians as well as omnivores.

    Awesome! Best Gluten Free pizza ever "Slap Yo Mama Lasagna." Very friendly staff. Everything is sustainably handled from the local farms to using paper plates and using "tin foil" for leftovers. Kids loved it.

    WOW!! This place makes some unique craft pizzas that are nothing short of tantalizing. The simple reclaimed decor and farm oriented stylings only add to the total green commitment of the menu. Hidden gem of Charlotte...make a point to stop if you like boutique style places that have crazy flair and attitude.
