This restaurant didn't live up to the standards. I chose this restaurant because the reviews and photos were great but that wasn't the case. The chicken and waffles taste horrible. It tasted like it came out of a cardboard box. The chicken was like chicken nuggets not chicken tenders. My spouse didn't enjoy the surprise brunch date.

When I arrived they didn't have my reservation. Then they sat my friend and I at a high top in the back of the restaurant that was wobbly and unstable. We sat down but was never greeted by a server. 15 mins no service. Ask the hostess and was told someone would be with us but they never came. The music was way too loud. More like a club than a restaurant.

We ordered one suggested item and one that wasn't suggested. Stick with their suggestions! The signature chicken waffle is amazing! The eggs Benedict were so so. The service makes up for it all, our waiter was absolutely amazing! We will be back!

They’re known for the chicken and waffles. We tried the signature and original and they were not great. If that’s the signature then im not sure i want to eat anything else. The bottomless mimosas were watered down. $80 tab and left hungry.

Nicely priced drinks and they don’t skimp on the alcohol. I had the salmon Alfredo and it was great. My boyfriend has the shrimp and grits and he thought it was okay. There was no one there when we walked in at 7pm on a Friday. So I was concerned at first, but more people started to arrive after us-which helped make it less awkward. The staff was attentive and kind to us-we enjoyed are quick dinner and good drinks.

My experience wasn't anything to brag about. Only writing this review because it was in my email. Waited forever for someone to come take our orders, server was extremely nonchalant, mind you this wasn't even our original server who sat us. Ordered the lump crab cake appetizer, there was nothing LUMP about it. The plate garnish was some Romaine lettuce crumbled up in the corner. Ordered a white sangria, tasted like wine outta Walmart. Entree was shrimp and grits, basic, nothing to describe. Meal wasn't worth the $60 I paid for. Also, wasn't too fond of the area it sat in. Way too many vagrants milling around, especially when our seat was directly in front of the window. The lighting, horrible, seemed like we were eating in a school cafeteria how bright it was in there. Music, terrible. Way too many sad depressing heartbreak songs being played.

The food was excellent and our server was one of the best I've ever experienced. Make sure you ask for Brody, she has a great personality & really works hard to make sure you enjoy your meal & time there! I highly recommend the calamari! It's a bit spicy & perfectly fired.

We made a reservation 48 hours in advance so we could eat Christmas eve dinner. 30 minutes before reservation we got a call (no text, email or voicemail) to say they weren't serving food. Since I didn't receive this call, since we were getting ready for holiday dinner, we arrived for our reservation to be told they weren't serving food and wouldn't seat us. Even if I had gotten a call, we wouldn't have been able to make another reservation at 6:00 Christmas eve. Very much doubt we will return.

The food was delicious and served hot and quickly. Our server let us know from the onset that he was training a new hire. He seemed a bit stretched out and disconnected at first. However, once his trainee left we were able to joke around with him and get him to open up. Any special requests that my friends and I had regarding our meals were met with no problem.Overall a great experience. I would def go back again for brunch.

Absolutely amazing Thanksgiving buffet featuring the best mac 'n cheese, collard greens and mandarin orange cranberry sauce I've had. The turkey was moist and delicious, and equally good were the cornbread stuffing, candies yams and green bean casserole. The food was terrific, but what made our day was the kind and friendly staff and eclectic clientele that made our time there feel like a family gathering - just like Thanksgiving should be.

Was here on a weekday evening for dinner. My meal was very good- shrimp and grits. It was slightly strange walking in, there was no host so we stood around a bit and eventually went back to ask the bar tender about being seated. She was also our server and super sweet. Must have just happened in on a very slow night.

I booked a reservation for 2 at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived about 15 minutes early and had to wait 15 minutes to get seated, which would not have been a problem if the hostess wasn’t accepting money under the table to seat people who did not have reservations. Once we got seated we waited for 10 minutes and a waiter nor waitress came to our table to serve us. The restaurant was not super busy, so I’m not sure why I had these issues, since I have eaten at this restaurant before. Due to this experience I probably will never go back because clearly the restaurant lacks integrity and care for customers.

The energy was good. The host was great. The manager was cool. My server was a little disconnected. Although his service was fair, he could have acted like he wanted to be at work in a place of service. Other servers were a bit more friendlier and a manager took my order twice due to the lack of engagement from my server. The experience was okay, to be expected. Great music! The bacon was good *chuckles*

I was there having Saturday brunch with a friend and everything was great. I had the ATL chkn and waffles with a peach bellini--it was Divine!! My friend had blueberry pancakes with turkey sausage, potatoes and a grand mimosa and he gave rave reviews as well! We will definitely be back.

I usually love this place! I go very often. So I’m sure it was a one time bad experience. There was no host. But it would take servers forever to come and check on the front. I understand things being difficult due to short staff so it didn’t bother me that they were more concerned with their actual tables than the seating people up front. But then we sat down, we barely got any attention at our table. By that time, there was a host. It was also much louder than normal. And all the seats weren’t filled so it was confusing. I’m sure this was just a one time thing though, I’ve never NOT had a good experience here in the past.

Group of ladies out for lunch and had a wonderful time. Everyone enjoyed their meals and even ordered for take home. Our server was great, very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious with special flavor and twists on some traditional southern dishes. The shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles and even cobb salad were all excellent.
