Always an outstanding experience. Great good and probably service.
This is one of our favorite restaurant in this area. It’s always a pleasure to be back and we are enjoying the foods and drinks here. The services are great as well.
Overall the food was fresh and delicious and the flavors are novel. Loved the view and my clients are usually impressed with the experience.
The service was average to disappointing this time around. The waiter made a comment when we asked for an additional hot water for my other guest. He asked is there any other requests so we can bring it out at the same time. He did not check on us and I had to look around to find someone to order more drinks. The food was delivered to the wrong guests twice, presentation of dishes were a bit rough and not as smooth as normal, the bill was wrongly charged an additional person, and the message for the complimentary dessert was wrong. Usually the service is what makes the experience for my guests.
A really lovely meal. We celebrated our anniversary and they really made it special.
Birthday celebration and enjoyed the special treatment/service of our waiter and staff. Beautiful location for social or romantic event. The menu is also excellent and love the wine suggestions!
Best experience ever! The service and the food was amazing!
Absolutely amazing. The tasting menu is paced superbly and the food is excellent. Great size for portions. You leave feeling full but not bloated.
Food was amazing. We each got the price fixe dinner. We had calamari, tuna tartare, poached lobster, beef, chocolate and strawberry desserts. Everything was fabulous. Well plated and nicely served.
I made reservations for my anniversary. Heard many fine comments about the restaurant. My husband and I shared the duck with black currant/ginger glaze..excellent. And, the halibut cooked to perfection. Neither dish was over-salted. The two appetizers were tempura calamari and tuna tartare...superb. The desserts were delicious, on the lighter side, and not overly sweet. Service spot-on, and loved the art, large windows, and modern look.
The three-course tasting menu included the best fried calamari I've ever had an a really well-executed tuna tartare. The server was attentive but happy to give us time to linger over cocktails before ordering. The high ceilings, widely spaced tables, and wall of glass looking onto a lake made for an evening of comfort and relaxed enjoyment.
We were celebrating a birthday. As always, the service, the food, the atmosphere is top notch. I wouldn't go anywhere else to mark a birthday or anniversary.
Our food was amazing except for the Hamachi which was a bit dry, but the other courses certainly made up for it!! The service was excellent as were our cocktails!! The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired, I’d prefer it to be cozier. It’s a large dining room with atrium ceilings and a very energetic vibe. The food made it worth the trip, we drove an hour just to try it out. We’ll be back.
Loved the portion, presentation, and food.
The servers could have been more talkable but they weren't.
Had difficulty understanding the server because of his heavy accent.
Excellent dinner with Excellent service. Strongly recommend for a pleasant evening together.
If you want excellent food, this is the place to go. We particularly like the duck, but everything is quite good. A little expensive, but good for a special dinner like a birthday or anniversary.
Terrific venue for an amazing ladies night, incredible food and great service. We had a great time and love the pairings as well as the cocktails.
Outstanding for my first post-Covid vaccine outing. Silverware was even delivered in sealed plastic bags. Food was transported from the kitchen to the table covered by metal covers. Tables were very far apart. Wait staff, food, and ambiance were also outstanding. Couldn't have been any better!
I think I would have appreciated the ambience more on a warmer day. I wasn’t able to enjoy it because it was chilly and windy, however the Koi pond and view was very nice from outside. The inside seemed more like a hotel dining room than a restaurant, but still pleasant enough.
The food was very delicious however the portions were really small. I left feeling hungry. I spent about $270 on dinner for two. I would have ordered another meal but unfortunately the kitchen was closed. I wish the wait staff would’ve notified me that the kitchen was closing, if they had I would’ve ordered more.
Maybe it should be a practice to notify the guests of last call for food.
Overall I enjoyed my experience. This is something I could do every now and then for special occasions. Maybe I’ll just eat before I go. Lol
I've been a customer of 2941 for years - this was my first time back after the Pandemic and happy to see it has not lost it's reputation for great food and service in a beautiful setting. The Prix-Fixe menu is an excellent value with nice choices. My tuna tartar was superb followed by my main course, the Halibut in a delicious red sauce. The Honey Bee dessert was fabulous and just the right size to end a wonderful dinner. You can't go wrong at this restaurant for any occasion.
Excellent food and service! Lovely setting! My favorite restaurant.
Food is always good.
Walking into the restaurant was a little confusing, because we came in from the hotel side. Genuinely my only complaint. From the maître d’ to Jean Marc, our server, to the woman refilling our glasses, everything was sheer perfection. Jean Marc is the master of description, and is personable and professional. He visited the table a little too much at times (we came in on a slower Tuesday), but I would honestly prefer to be over cared for than forgotten. The food was phenomenal. The drinks (she got the Wanderlust, I got the Bromance) were whimsical and wonderful. The raviolini are out of this world, and the honeybee dessert was just...ineffable. Thank you for taking care of my girlfriend and me during our date night! We will be back again soon.
Amazing. Absolutely nothing short of amazing.
Had a wedding earlier so the place was busier than expected (had to use secondary parking) but as usual, the restaurant did not disappoint. Delicious food and good service, albeit our server might have been a bit overwhelmed by the rush.
The one thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars was that our primary server did not check in with us or even come back to our table after our main entrees were served; she was busy attending to a larger group. We continued to get service from other staff, which was fine. However, after our desserts were served, we waited a very long time, she swooped by to drop off the check presuming we were done, but we wanted espressos. The espresso came, but she disappeared. Then we sat there waiting a while until we gave up waiting for her and asked a staff person passing by to please have our check. We paid and still during that whole time we never saw our server again. It was a special occasion and we spent a lot of money on wine and our meal. So, we were disappointed with the overall service from our primary server during the second half of our meal. We did not reflect that in her tip, but I wanted to note it in my review because that is one of my biggest dining out pet peeves is being "forgotten" at the end of a meal.
Staff at 2941 were excellent and very attentive to my severe allergy that I had noted in my reservation, accommodating a menu change and proactively informing me of a potential allergy concern I hadn’t noticed.
Had a great experience on 16 April! We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Every course was great! The wine was amazing and the sommelier very knowledgeable and engaging. We also loved the art work, and the staff was very accommodating in showing us around and explaining the amazing works of art, to include the Dali statue on the patio. Overall, highly recommend 2941 for an amazing evening.
Amazing restaurant. Amazing meal. Jennifer was our waitress and she’s the best.
We hadn't been out in a year, and this was a wonderful way to do it again. Inside seating was very far apart. Outdoor seating is available. The April testing menu was very good, we enjoyed all the dishes; the broth of the Hand Rolled Penne "Puttanesca" was exceptional.
In the world of COVID I get that there is not the same staffing as in the far back times- but service was spotty for a restaurant of this level. First drink comes out 1/2 through the appetizer course. Having to flag down people just for water. Felt rushed- but also off paced. BUT the food was wonderful.
Most amazing meal we have ever experienced. Definitely an experience. Did the chef's tasting menu with the wine pairing. The waiter was top notch. Tha sommelier was so warm and knowledgeable. Every course was art! My favorite course besides dessert was the Forestiere. Never knew mushroom foam was a thing..but I am hooked. My husband loved the butter poached lobster.
Celebrating a birthday. The entire experience was excellent!
Excelent food, wine and service.
This restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive.
Always a fabulous meal. Ate outside which was very enjoyable looking at the lake. Even inside would have been great. Lots of social space.
As always it is a great time at 2941 Restaurant. It was were my girlfriend and I had our first date. This time we came back to celebrate her 30th birthday and the staff was amazing. On the OpenTable app I was able to indicate we were celebrating her birthday. The staff printed the menus with a special birthday theme, she loved it. Then to finish off they brought over an amazing birthday dessert. Thank for help make the night special.
My friend and I were bowled over by how gorgeous 2941 is inside and the lovely view of the lake. The food astounded us as well. We particularly enjoyed the lamb two ways and the Easter chocolate dessert which I photographed and posted on Instagram. The service was also excellent. It’s expensive so definitely a special occasion destination, but well worth it. Thanks so much!
This place always delivers on food! Service has never been bad and Chef Bertrand can do dishes like few in the area can. The new somm is good and can go traditional but if you are adventurous she will do some more adventurous pairings for you. They were doing outdoor seating for spring and its stunning out there.
Everything was amazing!
My family and I love 2941 but I was not aware there was no valet parking. My husband and I have a handicap and would not have been able to park the car ourselves.
Our son, who was joining us arrived and took the car down for us.
Our server was wonderful as were the other support staff. Half of us ordered the lamb chops and unfortunately they were rather fatty and had a lot of gristle. This was an unfortunate surprise.
The desserts were fantastic and beautifully executed...our compliments to your pastry Chef.
