The food and service at Gertrude were brilliant! Delicious coffee, tasty brunch options that won’t break the bank, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? The Boston Beans are delicious. I’m convinced they worked some kind of magic on the accompanying sourdough. The hash browns are not like any hash browns you’ve ever had before. Order an extra side of them!

Warm welcoming staff and delicious, nicely presented food that was well priced. It’s nice not to feel ripped off these days. The restaurant was was so accommodating with our 3 year old also and they even had kids cutlery and cups which was a lovely touch that you rarely see. Thanks Gertrude’s, we will be back!

Excellent service from our server, didn’t catch her name but she’s Bray born and bred and loves a sea swim. She took care of us so well, was full of chat and recommendations and was a fantastic representation for the venue. Food and coffee was fantastic. 10/10

Gertrude is always a winner for brunch. They staff are very friendly and accommodating. I was able to swap my meal around with gluten free options to adapt to my dietary requirements. It was delicious, we both got the scrambled eggs on toast...that hot sauce is 👌🏻! Prosecco on tap is always good too.

As always we had a lovely experience in Gertrude, the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had our one year old with us and they were very helpful with him. Food is absolutely delicious and felt very spaced and safe. Will be be back soon!

The food was really delicious - we had the avocado toast and the fried chicken sandwich. My only complaint, albeit small - it felt significant, is that the slot was only for one hour which we weren’t told when we booked. Also we asked the waiter about this who said that’s in keeping with Government Covid Guidelines - this is not the case. As a result, everything felt a bit rushed but again, the food was delicious

This was our first visit and we will be back. Food was gorgeous. Staff were friendly and professional. Only criticism was music was too loud and not to our taste. But otherwise would highly recommend for brunch.

Really tasty Sunday brunch at Gertrude! I had the eggs on toast with sausages. All really tasty, simple, fresh well cooked. The hot sauce was a tad much and spicy for me, but - it’s in the name - so I would just ask for it on the side next time!

Nice place, casual and ideal for a sunday brunch. Good choices on the menu, but the pancakes were the real winner. Coffee is excellent as expected in a 3fe establishment. They gave us a table with lots of space for a buggy have requested in advance.

We visited Gertrude for Sunday brunch and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. From an easy online booking and a very genuine and friendly welcome upon arrival to a very warm and efficient service and outstanding food & coffee. I had the Chorizo hash and herself had poached eggs & avocado. Both dishes were well designed with each element clearly chosen to complement the overall dish. Will definitely be back.
