It took 10+ minutes once we were seated for the waitress to acknowledge us and give us water. The manager did come over and apologize and took my drink off the bill. The drink however tasted like dirty refrigerator. The kimchi rice Benedict could have been great but it was just okay and was not fulfilling! I’m still hungry as I write this. The ambiance was great- maybe just go here for a drink night cap, and do yourself a favor and skip the sangria.

My sister and I had such an amazing time having brunch at 5Church. The food was delicious, the sushi tods were soooo good! The cocktails were perfection and we loved the atmosphere!! Our waiter was super friendly, upbeat, had great recommendations for the food and drinks … this is the best place for brunch in ATL!

Brunch. Not good. Service and ambience was good. Reservation for 10 a.m. when they open. Arrived at the door right at 10. Door was locked. They immediately opened. Greeting was lackluster. Sat immediately. Ordered coffee and bloody mary. Coffee tasted burnt/scorched. Could not drink it. Server came back and said by city ordinance no alcohol service until 11 a.m. I would have expected server to know that and tell us when we ordered. But whatever. Food arrived. Shrimp and Grits and 5Church Breakfast with grits. Grits undercooked and crunchy on both dishes. Obviously kithcen was not ready. Shrimp and Grits was at first salty then became sweeter and sweeter. It was weird. 5Church Breakfast was suppose to be with over easy eggs. One of the yolks was broken and cooked more than halfway through. Whole presentation for both dishes were no better if not worse than you would get at a basic breakfast diner especially given the state of the coffee. Very disappointed and will try different brunch spots next time we're in town.

Enjoyed our brunch here and did drinks on the rooftop after! The shrimp and grits was better than I expected. The fried chicken biscuit was pretty good - their homemade biscuits are a bit dry for me but the hashbrown bake was so good! Overall good food and great vibes.

It would have been lovely but they were late to seat us, Resturant was flooding, and they continually got our order wrong and the male hinted that we were in the wrong. The roof top was closed and it just was the selling point.

We had a great dinner before Wicked at the Fox Theater! They were very good at making sure we left on time. The service was great and the food was yum! Only thing we probably would not order again was the bacon appetizer.

Went for an early pre-show dinner. Restaurant was pretty empty. Service was prompt and friendly - our helper was also a bartender so the drinks were prompt and generally a nice experience. The food was mediocre. I had the lamb burger which was quite dry. My wife had the salmon which was ok. I am sure this isn’t the case but our meals didn’t feel freshly prepared but rather prepared en-masse and then served when ordered. Would stop in here for a drink at the bar since it can be quite lively but I’d eat somewhere else!

This place is horrible. The menu is limited. We ordered a salad that had squash and lemon. We got a spinach salad drowned in oil with blueberries and oranges. French fries were soggy. I would think you couldn’t mess up French fries. I will never go back.

Went to brunch, ordered the Salmon Egg White Omelette and Classic Benedict with Short Rib. The Benedict was excellent but the omelette could’ve used more flavor. We also ordered a Mimosa Carafe which was delicious. We were seated quickly and we’re finished with our meal within an hour. Overall, a great experience!

The atmosphere was great and the art was cool. The short rib hash, lamb burger, grits, and Bloody Mary’s were delish! 5Church is a great place to connect with friends for a great time….visited 5Church a second time and the experience was just as good. Our server was very attentive and great. We had the short rib Benedict, chicken and waffle, and the 5Church breakfast. The quality and taste was consistently delicious as the first visit. Highly recommend 5Church Midtown for a great brunch experience.

Our server was mad cool(Joseph). Love his accent(brooklyn). He was knowledgeable about offering suggestions. Halibut was not thoroughly cooked had to send back. Avocado toast was meh. Lobster mac n’ cheese was decent. Wish food was more seasoned.

Overall great service, excellent server and quality tasting food. Try Charcuterie...well worth price and excellent selection of red wines. Nice Saturday night vibe. Most plates well portioned. Word of caution...while the scallops were amazing the entree was only served with about two tablespoons of the side that comes along with it... meaning the other half of large plate was empty. Looked like a weight watchers meal so I felt a little cheated. Manager/expeditor must work on food presentation for that $34 meal as it came out looking like a $15 appetizer.

Waiter never refilled our drinks. After waiting for refill for about 40 minutes, we asked manager & he forgot so we had to ask again for drink refills- all we had was tea & water, but it seemed difficult to get. Difficult to get we’ll drink. Then the salmon & potatoes had no seasoning. Brussels sprouts had burnt taste. They forgot my dad’s fries. Husbands burger was not medium well as asked. Finally got refill of water as we got bill and bill was wrong. Charged for things we never ordered. Nothing like the 5Church experience in Charlotte. This was a bad experience with the one in Atlanta-Midtown.

We ordered a New York Sirloin Strip and it was tasteful, however there was an excessive amounts of fat on it. We were still hungry after eating here. Also the hostess were not very friendly and communicative.

I ordered the scallop entree and it arrived with 3 scallops, a dark sauce and a sprig of garnish. When I realized it didn't match the description on the menu I asked the manager (who happened to walk by) and he said it was missing a puree. I said I thought it came with more, like a side, but he said it was only missing a puree. He didn't return after a few minutes, so I asked the waiter and he said he would check on it. The manager came back with a COLD ramekin of the missing puree, nothing else. I politely responded that I thought the menu said it came with corn-something on the side, and he insisted only the puree was missing. Here's what the menu states: Seared Scallops- pickled corn monte blanc, cauliflower & pepita seed salad, raspberry citronette. In the least, it had ZERO cauliflower and pepita seed salad. They were busy, servers were polite, I'll give them another try.

Larissa was amazing! I have a dairy allergy and she took her time going through the menu to make sure I ordered something that was dairy free. The chef also worked with her to prepare my food to be dairy free. The ambiance is great and the sangria was delicious. I would 100% recommend this location for brunch and specifically tell friends to ask for Larissa!

The moment you walk in to the restaurant you noticed a nice vibe. The music was audible but comfortable in volume where you could still have a good conversation with you company. The real candles and sizing of a table for two was inviting and intimate. We wasn’t sure what to get, my wife decided on the pasta and the addition of the salmon which allowed her to enjoy her favorite two foods. The pasta she said was flavorful and the salmon was delicious. I noticed a good seat on the salmon. As for me I got the flat iron steak after changing my mind on the chicken option. The waitress explained the ingredients on the chicken changed to include some dairy ingredients to which I had to pass on. But if a flat iron steak is a compromise, well I guess that tells you a lot about the restaurant. Now we did get the bacon burnt ends with the yuki slaw. I don’t like slaw because of mayo, but this one didn’t have mayo. And I devoured it. Both was delicious and I’m having a hard time deciding which part I enjoyed more the slaw or bacon haha. As for my main entree, the skirt steak was well seasoned and that overshadowed the fact they forgot my chimichurri on the side. Another slight miss was the fact I got truffle fries that I asked for without Parmesan still had Parmesan on it. Is it the end of the world? No, they brought me out a new batch minus the Parmesan. My plate was on point. The price was fair, the food was amazing, and despite a couple misses the service was also overall excellent. If you’re in ATL. It’s a must to show up. Parking is free when you eat there. The rooftop bar upstairs is nice as well. A great place to be on a summer night!

Food was immaculate. Ambience is incredible. Prices are good. However my service, not so much. The server wasn’t too knowledgeable on menu selections. I just figured he was new, no big deal. He advised there would be a $2 or $3 up charge for a difference in the liquor I wanted. When he brought the receipt, it was a $10 difference. He would not acknowledge his miscommunication and grabbed the manager. She was extremely impersonal (starting with the table touch) and went on and on about the liquor she chooses and the difference in price. I advised this is a conversation she should have with the server as I am looking to resolve this with paying for what was originally communicated by the server. She adjusted the total and ran my card. Unfortunately, I had a gift card I intended to use. Will I return again? Probably not.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your visit. Our manager adjusted the total amount of the drink to reflect the price previously stated. Once the adjustment was made, a checkbook with a card was handed to the manager. She was never made aware that you would prefer to use a gift card until after the payment was completed. Nevertheless, she voided the credit card to run the gift card instead. We hope to provide you with a better experience soon.

We really enjoy the atomsphere of the restaurant. The food was great and the artwork is beautiful.
