   Our server was lovely but a bit rough around the edges when taking orders, and she was taken from their other venue to help out that night so her knowledge of the food and drink was lacking. Over all I would return but would hope they had a full time person to make the experience that little bit sooner. I think we were just unlucky but would go again.

   Got a very warm welcome upon arrival and had a lovely table, it was freezing though! I had the cauliflower wings and they were delicious, my husband had the cod which wasn't great, batter was nice but the fish was very chewy with a thick rubbery middle. All the staff were incredibly nice, I would definitely try it again.

    Fabulous experience from walking in the front door to be greeted by friendly staff , food delicious and presentation outstanding . Beautiful cocktails, the atmosphere was perfect even with a three year old boy !! Staff very friendly and attentive, thank you

    Set menu for Valentine's, however, no one took our dessert order so we got none. We were not offered coffee or tea either. If we wanted extra drinks we kept having to stop waitresses and ask them.

    3 out of 4 main courses were fine. Music was far too loud. The whole restaurant was too loud, shouting at each other for conversation. It being Valentines weekend I was very unimpressed.

    The service and food were absolutely fantastic could not fault 79 the staff are so lovely and friendly nothing was to much for them they looked after us amazingly. The food was top class piping hot, plenty on the plates and loads to choose from. And the desserts are amazing. Highly recommend 79 west street

    We had a table booked at 7:15. No one came over to take our order for about 15 minutes. From 7:15 to 9:05 we only had service from waitresses twice until we had to call one over for glasses of water ourselves and for dessert as the kitchen was closing and no one had been over to our table to serve for more 30 mins after we finished our mains. Food was okay but service was poor. We didn’t even have cutlery put on our table for our mains or dessert, which again we had to ask for.

    I had a table booked for 3.45pm on Christmas Eve for myself and my niece. We arrived slightly early were brought to our table right away had our order taken soon after and got our food very quickly. It was fantastic and the service was excellent I can’t fault this place in any way. We will definitely be back.

    We really enjoyed our food there is a great selection the menu. The staff are great both very friendly and efficient . I have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Its also beautifully decorated. Nice place to meet with family or friends

    Absolutely amazing food was second to none service was just amazing our waitress was just so energetic and had us laughing all night looked after us all so well we were celebrating a birthday and I was looked after so much by staff , dj is brilliant thank u all so much for an amazing night .

    Lovely place to eat , really nice food & staff are so nice . Atmosphere was great , we had a school reunion of 14 people and really enjoyed the night . Just a pity u can’t stay on for drinks after your meal as there was a private party upstairs .

    Service just not up to scratch. Waiting a good while to be served and constantly having to call to ask for more drinks. Drink spilled on table and all over seat and dress. That was not the issue, as accidents happen but it was how this was dealt with which was not okay. We were left to clean the table, had to ask for napkins to dry dress and no act of apology.
