We were a group of 9 and everyone was happy with their meals. The pate is really excellent, very light. The scallops are fine but could probably do with some enhancement to make them more memorable. The star of the menu is the apple and strawberry crumble. It is by far the best I've had in Dublin.

High quality food. Simple dishes done really really well, and some with a little twist of unexpected flavour. Middle aged and older well heeled clientele when I was there which seems to be the vibe - v monkstown. Service is v good.

Very enjoyable visit to Brasserie 8a for brunch. This was my second visit. The menu is not extensive but has a good variety of dishes. Food was fresh, well cooked and nicely presented, delicious deserts and decent coffee. The staff are attentive and friendly and the ambience is cosy and casual. Will be back for dinner.

Very happy with our choice of restaurant. No complaints about the food or wine..service a little slow, but we weren't in a rush and restaurant was busy. Would certainly go there again.

Lovely atmosphere from the moment we set foot in the Restaurant. Live music by an accomplished Guitarist. Good choice of Menu. Staff wonderful - not in ur face but on the button - with a smile! AND I lost my Bracelet - I chanced ringing up & a very courteous young man promised to have a look & let me know if found. Was I surprised to get the call that it was found & wud b kept safe until I cud collect it & YES I got it. Thank you!!!

Staff were lovely and the service was excellent however value for money was poor. We went for lunch and I ordered the steak sandwich. It arrived on a bap and only had a small amount of "steak" which had been cut into pieces . It came with a small portion of chips and cost 19 euros. I would go back but I won't be ordering the steak sandwich

We were lucky to have outdoor seating available. Highly recommend in a nice weather. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always ask "fish of the day", you may have seabass or turbot
