A Food Affair was founded in 2012 by Babette & Christian Royère—a French couple based in Los Angeles, married over 30 years and still going strong. With Christian’s 40+ years of culinary experience and Babette’s warm hospitality, they’ve created a Provence-inspired dining experience that feels like home. As our mural says, “Come as a stranger, leave as family.”

This is our favorite restaurant in LA. The food and service are always excellent. The onion soup and the duck confit are marvelous as is everything else. The Chef, Christian, often comes out of the kitchen to talk with his guests.

This is a family run restaurant with a wonderful menu and great service. The chef personally comes out to greet the diners! We try to make it for dinner at least once a month. Merci beaucoup!
