   This was our second visit, and we could not wait because the first meal was amazing. However, it was noticeable from the start we would not be experiencing the same level. On walking in, three people from the bar shouted hello, which they must assume is the equivalent of good evening, do you have a reservation. So, I stated we have a table booked, and we were ushered to a table. I was not asked the booking name, or how many guests, what time the booking was for, did we want to sit right away or have a drink etc. We sat at a table for 20 mins and then had to find a waiter and ask could we order drinks. He then took our food order and messed that up as we got two starters the food was no where near the standard of our previous visit. Then in addition when we paid the bill, the waiter gave us the price, we paid, then we saw on the bill a 10% service charge that should have been optional. This should have been declared verbally, and I should have had the opportunity to decline. I was not given that choice, so I assume the waiter accepted the service charge on the card machine before asking me to tap my card. Totally appealing experience second time around, which may explain why the restaurant was half empty on a Friday night

   The food is just brilliant. Restaurant is really nice, they had a singer on outside which was a great touch. Even the owner/manager (I assume) came round and spoke to everyone to make sure they were ok. Can’t wait to go back.

   Last minute booking as we’d heard great things about this place, and glad we did. The chicken coconut soup for start was full of authentic Thai flavours my partner had the chicken satay and that was also divine. For mains I had the pad Thai and he had the panang salmon chef special the pad Thai was delicious but if you visit here WOW TRY THE SALMON! I’ve never had a panang like it safe to say hubby wasn’t impressed he had to share. We shared a bottle of wine they have an extensive high class wine menu finished off with the 2-4-12 espresso martini. This place feels like it should be in Manchester but it’s right on our doorstep! The staff were very attentive especially the owner Alicia who went out of her way were nothing was to much trouble.

   Amazing food! The staff are very attentive and welcoming. Cocktails are soooo tasty and very moreish. The food I couldn’t stop eating! Always a pleasant experience and never disappointed with the food or portion size. There is always a good variety to choose from. Me and my boyfriend travel every month from southport for the food and drinks. It’s the best Thai food for miles!

   Service was quite slow. We received our main meal 1 hour and 30 minutes after arriving. Taking our drinks order took quite a while. We were given our Thai crackers and dips before we had even been asked about drinks. Overall food was good.

   After usually having takeaway from yourselves whereby the on last collection the food was cold when I got it home, we decided to eat in. Wine nice and chilled and was served it promptly, but both my starter and main course was warm not hot. The two young servers on duty although very smart lacked service experience and even a simple request like a top for our wine so we could take it home as we were both driving, we were told 'you didn't have any'. We were very disappointed and sorry to say we won't be back.

    Nice location and good food. But, it took some time for anyone to take a drinks order and remove empty dishes. Also, there was a singer. while this is good in a bar, in a restaurant it made conversation more difficult. perhaps they would have been more appropriate in the bar area so the restaurant was more conducive to enjoying the food and conversation with those eating.

    What a great little place! Friendly staff, great food and great cocktails...there was also live music while we were there. And all at a great price. Highly recommended!

    Whilst I have marked two caragories a 4 star, this was only due to the waiting time. However, and this is a biggie, the takeaway service was absolutely manic. No doubt due to being Easter and a Saturday. That said, we were advise things were running a bit late, and we said, no drama we will sit in the cocktail bar amd have a drink. The fact that so many people were collecting takeaway should been seen as a plus point, not a negative. Bad food does not sell well Once sat down, all staff excellent, food absolutely banging. Can't fault staff, food or the price. Already planning second visit.
