A TODA MADRE born as consequence of Mexican Food has been evolving in the last decade, people is tired to eat a huge portions of rice, beans and a bunch of tortillas, We decided to show our culture through the food but in different way, not compromising the flavors and roots, we created a simple menu, every single taco has their own components , ingredients and explosion of flavors, at the same time, we use premium steaks to make tacos, burritos, quesadillas and bowls. We like rice and beans of course!, but for now it is time to show our food in a different presentation and healthy way.

Too cramped . Servers were vague with description of plates. Only outside patio seating . Other business customers walking right in the middle of dining area . Greeter didn’t make you feel welcome . Food overpriced for what it is. Parking is far away. Chairs are metal and all wobbly same as tables .

Even though we had reservations, we were called 30 minutes before arriving and told we would not be served. I understand it was raining but the caller was short, didn’t even let me get a word in. Went to another place down the street and had a great experience.

The venue is under renovation at this time. They only have outdoor seating and about to rain, so they kind of rushed us out of there since they don’t have anywhere else to place you.

This place was cute and disappointing at the same time. The hostess/server was odd. Most places have a bubbly/friendly person greet you. Not here. Most walk around looking so serious and upset. We got there and ordered. Waited. Waited some more. I had to ask for the chips and salsa. Waited some more. When my food came it had a hair.. finally got the chips and salsa btw the best thing in there is the chips. Very nice, crunchy and warm. No spice at all. Mexican food has to be spicy or at least have some spicy salsa available. I asked for salt and salsa to give it a better taste. Never got the salsa. Overall I think it’s cute, definitely expected more. The food is average, the michelada is Clamato and beer. That’s it!

This is my second time at this place and still not impressed. The servers are not very friendly, they are stuck up. The food is so expensive for no reason! Like $18 for a burrito? Or $21 for ramen? Like why? The drinks are pretty decent and the presentation is awesome which is the only reason I wanted to come back. There was a Dj when we were there and he played all the jams so we were vibin'. Definitely not my favorite place, but convenient since I live in Whittier.

Great Place, food was great and music is not as bad as some reviews say. Good enough to have a great time if u want to eat and drink. Our waitress was always checking on us making sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely recommend this place.

The service was awful. It took us 40 mins to place our food order. After ordering first round of drinks, we had to wait 30 mins for the waitress to come check on us. The service was bad, food was bad. Drinks were good. Was expecting more froM this place, especially when with the prices they give. Disappointed overall. Rather go “mama por dios” spending the same amount

Celebrating my wife birthday at this location it was the best we had for a while Anna our waitress was the best really liked her service really attentive to our needs highly recommended this establishment for all to come and visit thank you so much for the great food and great atmosphere really enjoy it this restaurant is one of a kind everyone should visit this location in beautiful Whittier California you will not regret it thank you yo Anna and her staff for making my wife birthday a great one we will be back very soon and will keep coming back for a long time thank you

Came here to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday night. Made the reservation a week in advance, they were super great about adding on ppl. I arrived about 10 mins late and called them that I was running late and were super understanding. We sat down at 8:15, (ordered around 8:30) didn’t get our food until 9:45pm. The ambiance was great very party vibe I loved it but I feel like the music was a little too loud and our waitress would not speak up to hear her. Not sure if they were short staffed or what the problem was but they took forever on the drinks and the food. When the food finally came, they only brought my dish out and the rest of the groups 10 minutes later? They charged me for an extra drink that I didn’t even receive. They charge $20 for WATER. LET ME REPEAT THAT, 20$ FOR WATER. (Because they have them in their own water bottles, that honestly we would have rather had tap water) The food was good it just took forever to come out. They automatically charge gratuity for parties of 6+ which is fine but for the amount that I waited for drinks and food I wouldn’t have tipped the amount I was charged for at all..

Really fun place to have drinks and food with your friends. Don't expect much conversation, though, it is really loud. But the atmosphere, music and staff friendliness makes up for it. We had a great time and are definitely going back.

Originally found this place in open table and judging from the pics it’s looked cute with a nice theme to it. Once we arrived they had our seats ready and the restaurant did look like the pics but not exactly what we expected. It’s loud, like really loud almost felt like a club inside. Dont do what I did and leave your kiddos at home. Service at first took long just to get started. But staff was very friendly and made up for it. Food was great, it tasted like real

It was our first time there and not planned. Best decision ever. It wasn’t to crowded considering there was a boxing fight that night. Food was good and drinks were ok. The Selena drink 100 recommend. Definitely going back again. Our waitress was awesome too always checking if we were okay. Loved it!

although the food was great, the service lacked. I asked for a fork twice because my original server forgot. I had to ask another server for a fork. my dish required a knife as well to cut into my meat however I didn’t ask for one because I’d figure I would wait another 20min for it. Drinks are a bit pricy

Our visit can be summarized as,"A Toda Madre Experience!" The food was delicious, service was fast and welcoming. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Lots of Happy Birthday celebrations and the music was exceptional as well.

The ambiance is really great! Very fruity and so colorful! The dj was playing great music! I suggest y’all make this place into a dancing area after everyone eats so people can dance!🥰 food was great! I loved the shrimp tacos. The nacho with steak was so delicious and I love the amor prohibido and the Selena so refreshing on this summer night. Will come back for the ambiance and the drinks.

Came for brunch to celebrate my sisters birthday! The place is a cute hidden gem. Everyone in there made us feel so welcomed. Our server was the best and so was Christian. The food and drinks were delicious. Loved the ambiance. Definitely coming here again. Christian se portó a toda madre!!! Lol

Can’t really say how the food was. We were seated for 20 min and not one person came to our table to service us. Sucks bc I was really excited to try this place and we were celebrating and that whole experience just totally ruined the whole experience and night. There were so many employees standing around and dancing and they all saw us leave and didn’t even ask why, they just watched us walk out.

Enjoyed dinner. Although, some dishes can be too pricey. Rib eye with lobster $91. Molcajetes $45-$49. Everything else is more reasonable (20-30). We took advantage of happy hour drinks. Birthday celebration in a large group. Cool birthday shot show. Aside from the 20% service charge, we where charged another $28 “subcharge.” Not sure if I would be back.
