Using unique, native produce such as apple bananas, Moloka'i sweet potatoes and tomatoes from Pele, a third generation farmer, our culinary team works in tune with the seasons. Great service, great food, quiet room, recognized my Birthday and provided an awesome cheesecake. Not cheap by any means, but if you are at Turtle Bay and want a nice restaurant I recommend Alaia!

Returned to Turtle Bay Resort since Covid and hotel renovation. Prior to renovation, stayed at the resort a few times when our children were young, for a friends wedding and a couple of times for Mother's day brunch. Alaia Restaurant: Food, drinks were good. Didn't feel the warm "Aloha Hospitality" Checking in, the hostess said that we will be able to view a Polynesian show from where we were, seemed perfect since our family was celebrating a special occasion. But . . . - We were being seated from where I requested when I made the dinner reservation. I asked the hostess seating us if we could sit at an open table near where we were being seated but she told us that it was reserved. That table was not occupied the whole time we ate our dinner, - After being seated, we had to ask for a table setting that was missing and an additional utensils that were not brought for our specific meals.

Great service and pleasant environment. The food was pretty good but for the prices you wish they were better. The greens salad was beautiful and large, good to share. The chicken entree was pretty tasty but nothing special. My wife enjoyed the mushroom pasta but the cost when adding 3 scampi was a bit much. The potatoes with parmesan were ok, disappointing - not fresh and hot like you want them to be. The focaccia was kind of spongy but tasty. Overall, not bad but could be better.

The service was almost non existent! The food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the value! I called before I made the reservations and asked if there was an Ala carte menu... I was told yes there was. When we got there there was no Ala care option, buffet only! I was highly disappointed, but decided to stay and give it a try. Wrong choice! We will not return and will net be recommending this restaurant to anyone we know!

We came to the restaurant on a saturday night because they advertised having a whole fried snapper available. We were seated at 7:30 with a noisy table of kids next to us to find out from the waiter that they had already sold out of the fish . We chose the tenderloin instead and it came out over cooked . We sent it back and then the new one came out undercooked. The service was horrible and did not offer a deduction of the steak even though we ate less than half of it . We were very disappointed since it was suppose to be the best restaurant at the hotel .

The food at Alaia was insane in the best way possible. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, creative yet familiar. The service was top notch- the staff there doesnt miss a beat. And of course the views were amazing overlooking the ocean and swaying palms. This dining experience is worth every penny. Cannot wait to go back on our next trip!

Please note that the reviews lump the breakfast which we did mot have and the dinner. They are lumped together on the reviews and the dinner reviews seem to be way better than the breakfast reviews. The food was exceptional. The service was good other than they seemed to be short on spoons as we had to ask at two different points in the meal for spoons when they were needed—for some reason they didn’t provide spoons for the gazpacho and the flan. Both though were exceptional. The main courses were very good too. The bone broth with my wife’s fish made the dish and the collard greens that accompanied my lamb was too die for. The lamb was really yummy too.

Me and my boyfriend came here for our anniversary and had a great experience. We arrived a little early and were seated right away. They made sure we had good seats with a view of the ocean as they recognized that we came for a special occasion. Staff was attentive and courteous. Pricing wasn't bad for the quality of food and service. The view was absolutely beautiful and made the drive worth while. We will be definitely coming back again.

We dined at Alaia for our wedding anniversary. It was our first time to Turtle Bay since the renovations, which was a jaw dropping walk through the lobby towards the restaurant. The panoramic views of the ocean were gorgeous. The staff was hospitable and food was superb; fresh and farm grown. I highly recommend; especially for a special occasion.

The menu changed to only buffet as the breakfast option. No more ordering breakfast entree plates. No more coffee machine on the buffet. I would bring family when they came visit since drinks and view are great and you didn’t have to stuff yourself on buffet if you wanted something smaller. Unfortunately today will be my last visit unless they change back.

Although the restaurant is operated within a beautiful property, unfortunately the service did not meet expectations of the standard of excellence we had experienced. After being seated we waited over 30 for our server although the restaurant was not crowded. The menu was limited and what we did order was undercooked. The price of the menu does not meet the level of service or quality of cuisine we expected. I don’t recommend this restaurant for others.

Made the 1hr trip from Kailua twice in one week to this place. Go early and have a drink at the hotel bar…amazing views. Steamer clams the best I’ve ever had and the heirloom tomato salad with vinaigrette fantastic. Great service from Nick if you get him!

Way too overpriced. Menu is limited. I’ve dined here numerous times because of the location and ambience. service is lacking and there was an issue each time. This last visit food was not delivered correctly. The chicken was undercooked, and other issues occurred. Mentioned on the reservation and when I arrived that we were celebrating a special event was not mention the entire dinner, nor did they even attempt to bring a dessert or celebrate

Food is good. Choices are better now compared to last year. Utensils are regular. The area is a little too busy and noisy but not surprising. Servers are not smiling compared to outside areas. Prices are subjective but I wong eat here unless you are too tired to go out. There are comparable restaurant in the north shore and cheaper.
