Service was one of the worst we had ever experienced. I work in the catering industry and the staff member who served our table would not last a day in our company. We purposely went to Dublin to go to Alfies as we had been there two years ago and it was fantastic. Serious disappointment this time. 1 out of 10 for service

Food not great-Burger was too dry and chips were soggy. Cocktails taste like there is no spirits in them. Dj was ok-not great.

Brought my daughter here for 18th birthday lunch, Just the two of us. Very poor service. Had to ask over and over where drinks where. Only ordered two drinks as they took so long 20 to 30 minutes. Also condiments not brought out had to ask for salt pepper mayo ketchup. Was very frustrating. Was hard to get staffs attention.

We got the after work menu, great value at €20 but be advised that starters and mains come together. Desserts were excellent (not part of €20 offer but worth every bit of the €6). Staff were very nice, good spot for a cheap and cheerful meal.

The food for the price wasn't great value at all and didn't live up to the pricing.

We booked Alfies for my best friends hen night after myself and my partner had drinks there at new year and thought it was a lovely bar. We reserved a booth in the bar area first for some lush cocktails then had a meal upstairs in the restaurant area, there was 11 of us. The food was amazing absolutely fantastic, service was great, all the food came out together, the staff couldn't do enough for you it was exceptional service, nobody had any complaints. The food and drinks are great value we had a number of bottles of wine and the price was reasonable compared to many places in Dublin City centre. Would highly recommend Alfie's and will definitely visit again get when in Dublin.

Great staff. Really know their job. If I had one tiny complaint both mine and my wife's food was a little too salty. Chicken satay & chirazo (spelled wrong) & pasta, but this is just a personal taste. Other than that it was all good.

Food was overcooked (pasta sheets in lasagne baked hard) and not well presented (cream sause in lasagne leaked out). Service was quite slow. Won't be going back.

Food was grand and the waitress was nice however there was quite a delay on my friends potatoes which came 30 mins after the rest of her food. We also had the after work option and found that by the time the starter was finished the rest of the food had gone cold.

We had a celebratory lunch in Alfies for 9 people, the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. The food was really high quality and great value especially with the Lunchbox deal. We all also enjoyed some of Alfies cocktails which were very impressive, taste and presentation. My friends and I often visit Alfies and has certainly become a favourite of ours, I would highly recommend visiting whether it's for a casual lunch, anniversary dinner or just evening drinks with friends!
