Food was nice but felt the service was sub standard we waited 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive, our starters arrived before them, I ordered a chicken burger but was given a beef burger, I didn’t mind as the burger was still nice, I was told I could choose any of the options from the sides with my burger but wasn’t made aware I would have to pay extra for some, it was only €2 which was fine but felt I should’ve been made aware

We had mains and dessert. Mains were good (very little duck in the duck main, not enough for a grown person). I ordered the cheesecake for dessert but the waiter came back 5 minutes after ordering to tell me they were out of cheesecake. Instead got the brownie same as my partner and it was the worst brownie ive ever had. Completely dry and tasteless I couldn't eat more than one bite. also Requested a quiet table in a corner somewhere (easy on a monday evening) but got seated where every single person had to walk past and directly across from another couple. Staff seemed more concerned with opening the bar upstairs for studnets drinking rather than actually taking care of their customers dining.

Lovely recommendation. Great drink specials and lots of food for the price. Americans be aware- the nachos are not traditional nachos. It was actually chili with some chips. Not what I was expecting but delicious!

Got moved in the middle of the meal. They forgot our order and our drinks, so we were sat there for 20 minutes with nothing. We were waiting for 30 minutes for the bill after asking for it 4 times.

Small portion sizes and cheap tasting cocktails. Feel like it was extremely overpriced for the sizes of our main courses and drinks. Staff were very attentive though, but we were happy to be leaving.

Central location, friendly attentive service. Lovely coffee. The lack of a physical menu is not great for older people who don’t have a smart phone. The food is expensive for what it is, I felt a bit ripped off. I’d return again for dinner but probably not for lunch.

I think this restaurant is underrated The food was of very high quality and very good value. Staff very friendly and helpful, they use a bar code for menus and as we are of an older age we were a little confused, however the staff showed us how to work it. As a regular diner this is now on our list to visit regularly Goretti Moore

Haven't been to Alfies for a while and food didn't disappoint however the service was slow for lunch time, received food before drinks and then served warm white wine (not Great) but changed when asked as we pointed out wine In another fridge. A little disappointed compared to usual standard.

Food was ok, wasn’t as nice . We asked for Mac n cheese and they came out with just pasta and little cheese on top pasta wasn’t even cooked properly. Strawberry daiquiri was too thick I asked to get it watered down or anything that can make it less thick they said I had to pay extra. Buffalo burger was mid but the starters was way nicer than main. We spent 128 altogether. I respectfully wouldn’t go back
