   Best vegan gastronomy in town! I will definitely return for more! I was hoping the table can be cleaned every time the dirty plates are taken away. Should provide a set of cutlery for share plates/experience for hygiene purpose not just a set of cutlery for one of all shared plates.

   The sharing experience was tasty but the service was terrible. Drinks didn’t arrive until the 3rd course. Our waitress obviously didn’t want to be there and was completely disinterested. Food servers had no idea what any of the dishes were and had to wait for a waitress to come and explain. Very disappointing.

   The ambience was what disappointed us a little, I am from out of town and thought we would have views of the water but the restaurant is in the centre of the hotel and we were tucked away at the back. Very brightly lit. Staff were amazing and the service was exceptional - was a little disappointed with the food that felt a little average. The desserts were amazing.

    Food was outstanding. My only critique is that they kept getting our drinks order wrong. And it took awhile to get the drinks. Happened both times I visited.

    The food was amazing. We tried their dumplings and Southern-fried chicken burger. The burger was more delicious than the real chicken burger I would say. This is one of my fav vegan restaurants in Sydney.

    What a bad experience. Spend a lot for a birthday dinner and got a bad service. First no one told us or explained about the experience, I was aware because I booked but no one bothered to explain or ask if we knew it. Took us 10 min to take us our wine order and just because I asked for someone. Also, very rude when a woman order the wine, but they show the bottle to the man on the table, without even tasting, is 100 dollars wine bottle, which the waitress didn't even brought it back so we could finish and we were aware there was still wine left . All the food came room temperature not hot at all, but could be their choice. Highlight was desert and that it. Very disappointing vegan food and terrible service.

    My husband and I had the Sharing Experience. Each dish was creative, pleasing to the eye and tasted amazing. The waiter was friendly and informative and the restaurant had a unique look and wonderful ambiance. I would definitely recommend it and would come back here again. Love, love, loved it! 😍

    Punchanama staff was excellent. She is an asset there. one of teh otehr staff took our order and completely forgot about it. Punchanama was very friendly, smiling and great customer service.

    The worst fine dining experience by far. Plain food on plates that's not fitting for the food. Fake plants and the cheap dividing panel, not to mention the service. Don't waste your money there.

    Beautiful setting, amazing food. Let down by laid back mentality to customer service. We were so excited to finally be visiting Alibi, however upon arrival we received a cold welcome from front of house staff and the confusion continued as to where we would be seated. We were told to walk down to the end of the restaurant, which we did, and then abruptly told to walk back as they had no record of our booking?!? Drinks arrived after the food which is always slightly annoying. Our waitress was lovely, tried her best to make good of the slow service and no drinks arriving. Overall the welcome was disappointing and cold, confusion from staff about where to seat us. We did not feel expected, which is always a must when booking a restaurant of this calibre. Can’t fault the food as it was outstanding. Service standards need to be brought up to meet the high quality food and surroundings. Feels like a disconnect somewhere.

    To be honest we felt very un welcome during our dinner experience. We had to ask x 3 times for a menu while we were seated and ended up having to get up and see someone who was very blunt and un friendly at the bar. Then we asked x 2 people for table water and never received it. We also had to ask someone if we could order drinks and food. Would not be returning again due to our experience.

    Friendly service but DJ music was a bit overbearing. We had the degustation "experience" which comprised intricately created, and artistically presented, share plates for our group of four. Fresh, quality ingredients carefully prepared but it was overwhelmingly plain vegetable in flavour and texture. Nothing wrong with that, but compared to other vegan restaurants there was little in the way of imaginative recreation of plant-based foods into more complex flavours and textures. Deserts achieved this, but not the savoury plates. The soughdough bread had great flavour but the crust was rock hard and inedible. You shouldn't have to work that hard to put food in your mouth. Whilst we enjoyed our night, we felt disappointed that, despite a lot of apparent effort, the food missed the mark.

    I was a little worried about how loud the music was from the DJ in the bar when we first arrived but after being seated at a table some distance from them, it turned out not to be a bother. The food at Alibi was exquisite. We had the sharing menu. From the first course right through to the sweet vegan cheese tarts at the end, the combination of flavours and textures was divine. The staff were casual and friendly. All up it was a fabulous dining experience. Would recommend.

    Absolutely marvellous in every way. Went here for dinner and selected the sharing tasting experience. Superb portions that left us feeling very full and oh my the Eggplant, okra and the cheese tarts were some of the best food I have ever had in my life. Oh and the cocktails are divine! What a beautiful setting too in the lovely wolloomooloo, nice and quiet on a Friday night. Dreaming of my next visit to Alibi.

    Had a great time. Was fairly quiet on a Thursday night and we thoroughly enjoyed the tacos! Cocktails were great too and the Halo Halo dessert was impressive. Will definitely be back.

    Was really excited to try this restaurant as I had heard about on a podcast. The food did not disappoint, lots of amazing flavours. Unfortunately, we were a little let down by the service. Had to wait 45 mins for a glass of wine (after 3 different people had told me they would follow up) and one of our mains was forgotten.

    Had the best experience at Alibi. Cocktails were delicious and service was fantastic. The dishes are very thoughtful and creative and they really respect the true flavours of the ingredients that are used. Desserts were incredible and I'm not even that into desserts. So so delicious and highly recommend!

    Cocktails were over an hour late . The waiter was nice enough to apologise and give us the next round for free. Although Very pretty inside they had a man with a saxophone who would play a few notes over the loud pop music that was playing over the speaker which just wasn’t a vibe

    This vegan fine dining restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Reasonably priced, beautifully presented dishes with fresh, intense flavours. The 8 course menu left us a little too full and I think the 6 course menu would be our choice next time.
