   We were a group of 4 girl's, was our first time to try here for bottomless brunch and it did not disappoint. Food was lovely, staff were very friendly and efficient and the location is perfect . Would definitely recommend, in fact I have already booked to go back again soon.

   The food and service were really great, and it was all pretty good value too. However the place was empty; for much of our meal we were the only people there. Yet when I booked it the only time available was 7pm! 7.30pm came, 8pm came and yet NO-ONE else arrived! the random people who did arrive in dribs and drabs were clearly tourists staying in the hotel. No groups of Bank Holiday revellers, no beautiful young things out on the town - pretty much no-one else, and yet I could only get a 7pm table giving me the impression it would be full and atmospheric - it wasn't. Feeling a bit hoodwinked tbh.

   Very disappointed in this low quality brunch. The buffet is made of 1 cheese and 2 charcuterie and no cheese (« it doesn’t come with bread but we can ask the chef if there is extra bread you can have »). Very little selection of fruits (nothing like the pictures seen on Instagram) and viennoiseries (no croissant). The « fresh » orange juice doesn’t seem fresh at all. However, the guitarist is good and I believe if you go for the bottomless mimosas it can be ok

   I really enjoyed the experience at Alt last Saturday. The service was good, food and mimosas as well. I wish we had more places like this in Dublin. Definetely worth trying. I will be back!

   We had brunch at ALT Restaurant, the place is clean, cozy and welcoming, staff are very friendly and helpful, food is ok, i had the ALT Clubber on Sourdough, serving is big, it is a bit spicy but was delicious it makes you want to eat more 😄 my friend had the french toast at looks divine. I would recommend it 👍

   We went for the bottomless brunch. This spot is a real oasis in the city and I’ll be back. My only small quibble would be with the cheesy pop at a considerable volume. Would have appreciated something a little mellower on a Sunday.

    Booked this place for a girls dinner with my friends. The decor and the atmosphere is simply beautiful! Loved every single detail of it. The staff is very friendly and attentive as well! Good job! The drinks are very good and they offer a wide range of choices. On the other hand, for the food I liked that they have only few dishes, which means they do it best but wasn’t very impressed with the options. Neither were my friends Will give it another try soon as we went back in December and they had the Holiday/Christmas menu for food, so I would want to see what they normally have.

    Ambiance is great. Kept expecting a gang to arrive stomping snow off their boots & storing their ski gear. Christmas menu for group, so pared down offerings. Starters weren't to taste but we tried the turkey & ham main and the salmon, both delicious. For dessert we were split between truffle and mince pies, triffle wasn't such a hit but the 3 small mince pies were yum, if a little too filling (2 would have been sufficient). Service was good until the end when it all went to pot, but not the only restaurant where staff slow down a little too early. One major issue was the dried foliage hanging over our table, one of our party had to make a hefty retreat as her allergies worsened. All in all lovely night but could have been great with a few tweaks. Will be back in 2023.

    I had a very pleasant Christmas meal with a small group of friends at Alt - the food was only ok, but maybe because it was a group menu for the season. The staff and ambience were lovely, we were not rushed at all and no request was an issue. I recommend a visit!

    The setting was beautiful. Style over substance though; our mains looked fantastic but we’re dried out and overcooked. The sever was very apologetic but the kitchen was unable to serve our courses in sync so our party ended up eating separately to avoid our food going cold. Our sides arrived eventually but only after everyone had finished eating their disjointed mains.

    Gorgeous gem of a restaurant just off Dame Street. Beautifully laid out in Scandinavian style, with very clean lines and really good spacing between tables. Staff are super. From the moment we arrived, we were really well looked after on both occasions. Nothing is too much trouble. They really go the extra mile to please customers. Food here on both occasions that we visited was amazing. Really well cooked with great attention to detail and plenty of it. Definitely nothing stingy about the portion sizes. Starter, mains and desserts were fabulous. I would recommend the Malaysian Fish Curry. It’s glorious, as is the Beef Cheek. Triple chocolate brownie is stunning. I’d say it’s one of the best I’ve had for quite a while. We had cocktails of Negroni and Mojito and were very happy with our experience at Wren Urban Nest. I’m look forward to my next visit here.

    Amazing customer service from Juss and Alan, and the entire staff. They made sure we were catered for the entire evening. The food and cocktails were sensational!! The ambiance was great and the entire evening was splendid. I would definitely frequent this restaurant and would recommend to others.

    Food was good but limited menu, only one dessert, Service wasn’t great, however it was a Thursday night and I would expect more staff on at the weekends or busier nights, decor is really cute and cozy, two courses two drinks, a side and a tip came to €100 which is fine but nothing extraordinary for the price you’re paying

    Can't fault the staff, they were lovely. Food wasn't up to much however. The falafels were fine, but my mains of beef cheek was far, far too salty (inedible for most I would gather) and mashed potatoes should not be lumpy nor have skin in it!! My partner asked for steak medium rare but it was overdone. For a main that cost €37 it really should have been cooked to perfection. They did enjoy it though. Overall far too pricy for what it was. Surroundings were beautiful, but it was terribly cold. It really has a lot of potential, but for now I think they need to iron out their teething problems.

    Ate in ALT for the first time on 30th April 2022 before heading to a show. There were plenty of people around and a good atmosphere. The welcome/attention from front of house was excellent and the young woman serving us that evening was extremely pleasant and efficient. My starter portion of mushroom and spinach croquettes was huge (six pieces) while the chicken main meal was substantial and very flavoursome. Wine chosen was also very good. Only slight quibble was that there was not sufficient mushroom and spinach in the croquettes. This may have just been bad luck on my part in getting a batch that had a below average representation of the fillings but if not, I would suggest increase the fillings and reduce the serving to 3/4. Overall a very pleasant experience.

    Really lovely place with great decor. We ordered espresso martinis which were delicious, followed by carrot and ginger soup, which was very nice. We ordered the cheese board and coffee after, which was very underwhelming. Overall I'd stick to just drinks here due to the lovely service and ambiance.

    Very nice and friendly staff but all the food was cold. Starter and main came together and both at around room temperature which made it hard to enjoy the experience. The staff did their best by comping drinks but it was €90 for a 1 star food experience.

    Our waitress was very nice but clearly inexperienced. The ambiance and decor were beautiful, but the service and food were very disappointing. The starters were quite good, but I was extremely disappointed by the main courses. The chicken was very dry and bland. There was a long wait in between courses, and when the selection of ice creams were served, they were both too melted, while having large chunks of ice in the middle. We were also served warm rose and was not offered a taste first. Did not live up to our expectations at all.

    We were the only people in the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday which didn't make for mush of an atmosphere unfortunately. The space is lovely but it does somewhat feel like you are "in" a Hotel lobby. The service was fantastic. The staff are exceptionally lovely and attentive. The food was less than mediocre with everything looking and tasking like it had come put of a fryer that could use an oil change. It was nicely presented though. Disappointing as a result.

    Very rare for me to write a review like this, but unfortunately my experience was so bad I feel compelled to write it as I experienced it. Booked a table for 2 @8pm Sat night. Got a call later to ask if it was possible to move it up an hour to accommodate some needed maintenance in the kitchen. OK I said, no worries. Arrive at 7pm, two other busy tables but no one has food as yet being served to anyone. Place our drinks and food orders (prematurely perhaps but order a €55 half bottle of champagne to celebrate a special occasion). Starters appear after about 30 minutes. Bit long waiting but OK. Main course of "Monkfish Stew" and a braised cheek of beef eventually arrive around 8:40pm. Remember we arrived an hour earlier than I booked to accommodate "maintenance". No explanation, no apology, nothing. The food was very disappointing, the Monkfish Stew was dry, mostly rice and thrown together in a bowl. My beef was likewise dry. We couldn't eat it. We cancelled our dessert rather than being put through the igmonany of waiting another half hour for it. At no time was an explanation or apology offered until I called for the bill. A very kind waitress (not our original waiter or indeed the floor manager) apologised profusely, offered a 20% discount for the poor service, and declined the offer of a tip. She was the one good thing that happened that whole evening. Otherwise it was a complete disaster of a special occcasion. Something bad was happening no doubt in the back but it wasn't even a particularly busy evening and could have been at least explained to us. Expensive, overrated, badly run, and poor, unimaginative food. Which is a complete and utter shame given the nice Nordic decor and vibey ambience.
