Food was delivered quite quickly. It was appreciably hot. Chips felt like they had come straight out of the fryer. Good value.

Lunch at the Altona RSL with 3 friends is a great option for reasonably priced, fresh, tasty food. The new kitchen staff seem to have listened to suggestions and taken onboard customer comments. The ordering process was quick at lunchtime but the queue at dinner can get quite long as most people want dinner near 6pm. The food was excellent. The waiting staff friendly and attentive. A great place to have lunch or dinner.

We had not been back to the RSL for 1 and a half years due to the chef being very rude to customers. It was so lovely to be back and welcomed by all the friendly staff. The service and meals were impeccable! Generous size meals !
