First time here. Food was very good. Service was fine but we had to ask for two place settings water glasses. Also, my husband hit his head on the TV as he was going out to our table Need to ensure that the tv is turned enough so it’s not sticking out into the pathway.

Great little restaurant but best on quieter nights. Weekends a bit noisy but good food and good fun.

It was great. Veronika the bartender was awesome. The new barstools are not comfortable at all.

Great space, friendly attentive staff and the food was great. Went for a work lunch and ordered a table pizza plus we each had a pasta or salad main. All yummy and plenty of leftovers for dinner that night or lunch the next day. It reheated well.

We preferred the original ambiance with a classic Italian atmosphere rather than a sports bar feeling; however, the restaurant was packed so I'm sure that they are doing more business with the sports bar emphasis. The menu is equally as good as before the makeover. We probably won't go to Amalfi as often since the change.

Used to be one of our favorite places, not sure what happened but since the reopening everything seems to have gone down.

A beloved neighborhood gem — lost in renovation We’ve always loved Amalfi for exactly what it was: a warm, intimate Italian spot with attentive servers, a solid seafood menu, and an atmosphere that felt a few steps above the usual village options. It was our go-to for date nights and catching up with friends. Not anymore. We returned after the renovation and barely recognized the place. The cozy dining room has been replaced by a blindingly bright space lined with bold green partitions and wall-to-wall TVs. A live band was performing, but the speakers couldn’t handle the volume — the distortion made conversation nearly impossible. The Italian servers who made the experience feel genuinely welcoming are gone. The menu has been heavily edited, with most of the seafood options eliminated. The food that remains is decent, though some choices are puzzling (lentils in the olive oil?). Here’s the thing — the neighborhood already has Pacific Social across the street, plus El Pueblo and Epic Wings nearby. There was no shortage of sports bar energy in this village. Amalfi was the one spot that offered something different: a quieter, more refined option for a proper dinner out. On a Friday night, we counted one other occupied table and two people at the bar. That kind of crowd doesn’t bode well. I genuinely hope they reconsider the direction, because what made this place special is gone — and it’s sorely missed.
